e-xpress Interactive is expanding its marketing team seeking a dedicated PR professional with knowledge and expertise in gaming.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage public relations duties with mainstream and specialist print and online media, and influencers
- Create effective communication for press including press releases, fact sheets, media alerts, Q&As and comments
- Represent e-xpress Interactive and Games The Shop in external meetings, public and press, while serving as the company spokesperson for official statements
- Coordinate media enquiries with publishers and partners
- Manage product launches, media and influencer events, and tours
- Deliver comprehensive reporting of press activities, coverage, influencer and brand activations including post-mortem analysis
- Grow and maintain strong working relationship with an extensive network of print and online mainstream and specialist media along with relevant influencers
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, social, sales, and retail
Minimum qualifications:
- Graduation degree
- 2-3 years of work experience in public relations
Preferred qualifications:
- Expert knowledge of the video gaming business and media industry
- Strong understanding of PR planning and ex*****on
- Well-developed relationships with media, influencers and marketing agencies
- Ability to identify and explore strategic public relations opportunities to enhance branding for e-xpress Interactive and Games The Shop
- Possess a high-degree of integrity and a sense of confidentiality
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritise high-value projects
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Ability to develop and maintain strong internal and external relationships at all levels
- Great creative mind to think through end-to-end marketing ideas and suggest alternative approaches
Optional qualifications:
- Knowledge of retail and e-commerce operations
- Ability to identify and reach out for relevant business opportunities
