It is often said that people are content with one or two degrees in life — but Dr. Shrikant Jichkar redefined this idea by creating history in the field of education. Known as India’s most qualified man, he held an astonishing 20 degrees across diverse disciplines.
From medicine to law, management to literature, his thirst for knowledge knew no boundaries. He completed MBBS and MD in Medicine, then pursued LL.B. and LL.M. in Law, followed by MBA and DBM in Management. Alongside, he achieved M.A. degrees in 10 different subjects — including sociology, economics, Sanskrit, history, literature, psychology, and political science.
His academic journey didn’t stop there. He also earned a Bachelor of Journalism, a Doctor of Literature in Sanskrit, and cleared the UPSC exam, getting selected for both IPS and IAS.
Dr. Jichkar proved that passion and discipline can turn one individual into a “walking university,” inspiring generations to believe that knowledge has no limits.
