GUIDELINES FOR G-ZOOM -2015 SEA*ON 3
CENTRE & DISTRICT LEVEL COMPETITION
G-ZOOM, The biggest ever Kalotsavam of G-TEC Students, will be organised in the Ist week of January 2015. Centre Level and District Level competition will be carried-out during the month of November and December 2015 respectively.
The Program will be conducted in three phases.
1st Phase will be at Centre Level, 2nd Phase will be at District Level and the Final Phase will be at State Level – MEGA EVENT.
The Winners, 1st Runner-up and the 2nd Runner-up of the Program will be awarded a Cash Prize of Rs.1,00,000, Rs.50, 000 and Rs.25, 000/- respectively.
The Participants of the event should be an ongoing student of G-TEC COMPUTER EDUCATION / G-TEC COLLEGE preferably a student who join through G-ZOOM 2015 Scheme. A mere registration is not enough whereas the Student is mandatory to pay the down payment of minimum Rs.1000/- to consider for the participation in G-ZOOM 2015 Season 3 Competition.
Centre Level Competition
G-ZOOM SEA*ON 3, Centre Level competition has to be carried-out before 25th November 2015. The date of Centre level competition need to be reported to concerned A*O well in advance.
Programs charted in G-ZOOM event are mentioned as under.
1. Singing Competition- Solo (Cinematic)
2. Dance Competition- Single (Cinematic)
3. Dance Competition- Group (Cinematic)
4. Performing Items for students
The first three items in the program are compulsory and the Performance is coming under non-competition which carries Special Grace Mark.
The Centres are to conduct the competition on the above said programs and select the winners to represent each Centre.
Classical dance, Cinematic Dance, Oppana, Thiruvathirakkali and Mime, are only allowed under “Performance”. Performance can be demonstrated either as single or Group.
A staff meeting is to be convened in the centre during the First Week of November 2015 to organise the competition in the Centre Level and thereafter a meeting to be scheduled for the students to inform the Program and its formalities.
The details of the Winners in the Centre Level competition are to be informed to the concerned A*O before 30th November 2015 without fail.
District Level competition
The selected candidates from each centre under each event will be competing each other in the District level completion to find-out the Best Singer, Best Dancer, Best Dance group and Best Performance. Winners of each item in the district level will be combined and form as a TEAM to represent the district in the State Level competition
The following winners will be selected through the District Level competition
1. Best Singer
2. Best Dancer
3. Best Dance Group
4. Best Centre
The Best Centre in each district would be selected on the basis of its contribution towards forming the district team which eventually contested for the G-ZOOM Season 3 Title.
The Grace Marks for the students scored in “PERFORMANCE” will be considered in deciding the WINNER.
6 minutes will be allotted for Solo Singing, 8 minutes for Solo Dance and Group Dance whereas only 10 minutes will be allowed for PERFORMANCE in both District Level and the MEGA Final.
The prizes for the winners are as follows
Best Singer : Certificate + Memento + Entry to Mega Final
Best Dancer : Certificate + Memento + Entry to Mega Final
Best Dance Group : Certificate + Memento + Entry to Mega Final
Best Centre in
Each District : Memento
The 1st Runner-up of each competition at District Level will be given consolation prizes.
Judgment of the Jury panel will be final.
The last date of registration for participating in the competition at District Level will be informed by concerned A*O’s in Advance. The centres have to forward the final list of participants to the Area Manager on the said date without fail.
A format of the Registration Form for the Participants will be forwarded to the centres by the Area Managers for the required Registration for the Program. Student Registration Number is mandatory and should be entered in the form.
For each A*O’s there will be a programme committees for the smooth functioning of the event in the District Level. The Program committees is divided into the following sub committees
Organising Committee, Finance Committee, Food Committee
(If required) & Online Promotions
Total budget for the district-wise competition will have to be shared equally by G-TEC Centres and G-TEC Colleges in the said district. A*O/Finance Committee will keep all the records of the transactions pertaining to the program. Marketing Manager/RM will also be coordinating the program along with each A*O’s for its successful implementation.
Layouts of G-ZOOM PROMOTIONAL materials will be forwarded to centres for further promotion of the program.
G-ZOOM, The Festival of Youth is an unique initiative of G-TEC in order to inculcate and showcase the artistic talents of the students, who pursue various courses in our centres, for which a BIG PLATFORM is set.
Admn.Office will seriously look into the participation of each centre of our Network in the District Level competition.
Apart from imparting quality education, students also should be provided the opportunity to partake in cultural programs which of-course creates a bonding towards the Centre and G-TEC BRAND.
