The Institute follows a robust training methodology which is highly participative with focus on student-teacher interaction, the inputs are provided through presentations, lectures, discussions, use of multimedia. The assignments, exercises and case studies are used extensively as part of the training. They are exposed to hands-on experience using state-of-the-art facilities including latest machines, advanced computers, associated peripheral devices and CISCO devices (Routers and Switches) which are freely provided and the sharing of experience and expertise amongst participants is made compulsory. The Institute is regarded as one of the best Skill based Training Institute with 80% practical and 20% theory to ensure that trainees will achieve excellence in their chosen fields. The skill development training at KGTTI inculcates improvement of skills in individuals, better employment opportunities - both in India and abroad, possibilities of higher wages, improvement in quality of life, enhanced customer satisfaction to the industries. It also has a direct impact in improving the quality of industrial production, increased productivity at reduced costs, timely deliveries, highly motivated workforce, lesser attrition rates leading to higher profits which is the present day requirement of the industry. The number of students graduating has risen steadily in the last year and a half. In this short span of time we were able to provide nearly 700 highly skilled pool of manpower to the industry and most of them have been absorbed by some of the highly reputed industries. During the FY 2013-14 we expect to award graduation to nearly 1000 students. Many Institutes are showing keen interest to be our partners in sharing the infrastructure and direct recruitment.
