Position: Senior Test Engineer

Position Descriptions:

Searching Senior Test Engineers to join a growing and innovative team to develop and support Web based applications.
As a member of the development team, you will have to
• Play a key role in the implementation of Application
• Must be flexible in playing multiple roles and responsibilities
• Must have a Good understanding on Process flows and the Implementation process.

Qualifications:
• 4+ years of Testing/QA experience

Key areas:

• Testing of Applications from the webservices point of view.
• Strong knowledge on understanding the Functional specifications and preparing Test case documents.
• Knowledge on SOAP/REST web-services testing.
• Database Skills: SQL, PL/SQL
• Must have knowledge on any one Sub versioning tool.

Core qualities expected:

• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Attention to detail and ability to prioritize task in order to meet strict deadlines.

Domain knowledge:

• Bug fixing Life cycle
• Testing Life cycle

Nice to have:

• Having an experience of working / communicating to Clients.

Qualifications:
• 5 to 7 years of development experience

Key areas (must have worked on atleast for 2 yrs):

• Java (With frameworks like Hibernate, Spring and Spring MVC)
• SOAP/REST web-services along with JSP and JavaScript development skills
• Weblogic Servers: Tomcat / Oracle Weblogic
• Database Skills: SQL, PL/SQL, MySQL
• Must have knowledge on any one Sub versioning tool.

Core qualities expected:

• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Attention to detail and ability to prioritize task in order to meet strict deadlines
• Must be capable of Team management, playing a lead role.

Domain knowledge:

• Bug fixing Life cycle
• Testing Life cycle

Nice to have:

• XML parsing and hands-on on Linux programming.
• Oracle RDBMS knowledge.
• Knowledge of subversion or other source control methods
• Java programmer certification is a plus
• Experience of supporting and enhancing a mission critical production platform is a plus
