Sequoia::Hack is the annual Hackathon organised by Sequoia India. The aim is to provide a forum to the entire tech ecosystem to build cool, path-breaking tech, because it’s fun. And because, it can change the world. In fact, having had a ringside view to the world changing many times in the past few decades, we firmly believe in the ability of hackers to do so, and we feel privileged to play a small role in their journey. At the hackathon, we want to get great minds together to build great technology. For folks who prefer to have ideas laid out as challenges, we will provide some. For folks who already know what they would like to build, this is a great venue to come build it out and collaborate with their peers, thus showcase your skills to your peer community, locally and worldwide. All in an intense 24-hour burst. We recognize that great software needs a confluence of people, ideas and disciplines. So as part of this event, we will have some of the best designers and UX architects mingling with you to help you design UIs if that’s what you are trying to do. In addition, CEOs, Product heads, CTOs, technical architects, distinguished engineers, and chief scientists of various companies from India and abroad will be available as mentors through this period of time, to help guide efforts if you choose to avail of them. “At the early stages – companies are so imperfect – everything that can go wrong, will probably go wrong. You need to keep believing in the founders. Our business is all about that belief. If you only focus on the challenges, you will lose sight of what is special about the company. So we choose to look at the green flags – for example does the startup display insane amounts of customer centricity? What is a Quality of Earnings (QoE) report? 🤔 As a startup founder, you will have to perform a QoE report under 3 situations: 1) when you decide to raise a round, 2) when you do a strategic acquisition, or 3) when you sell your company.

Simply put, QoE shows the percentage of a company’s income resulting from higher sales or lower costs, which can indicate the state of a company’s economic performance. QoE can also be used to predict future earnings and cash flows.

Apa sih, laporan Quality of Earnings (QoE)? 🤔Sebagai founder startup, kamu perlu melakukan laporan QoE untuk tiga situasi: 1) Saat kamu memutuskan untuk memulai menggalang pendanaan, 2) Ketika kamu melakukan akuisisi strategis, 3) Ketika kamu menjual perusahaan.
