Building a terminal without the right test cards is like writing code without a debugger.

You'll find the issues, just at the worst possible time.

As a terminal OEM, you carry a different kind of complexity. Multiple models in parallel development. Distributed engineering teams across time zones.

Brand approval timelines are fixed.

The right Merchant Card Set closes that gap.

When anything fails, the card log viewer will show exactly what happened, so your team can debug faster.

It's time to fix your terminal UAT with a faster alternative.

EMV L3 certification is rarely straightforward, especially when your terminal mix spans across multiple markets.

Tecto's modular architecture lets certification teams pick exactly the networks and terminal types they need to test, without carrying the weight of networks they don't need.

Whether you're certifying a single terminal type in South Asia or managing a complex multi-terminal rollout across Africa, Tecto gives you the control and coverage to test, certify, and deploy faster.

Acquirer host debugging doesn't have to be a resource problem.

Most teams treat it as one, multiple tools, manual test case management, no clear visibility into where something went wrong, and a process that takes far more person-hours than it should.

Lithos changes that by bringing everything into one place.

Test cases, testing ex*****on, and an automatic analyzer, all pre-integrated.

No ambiguity about what to test, how to run it, or what the result means.

Instant results, so your team spends less time waiting and more time resolving.

If your host testing cycle is consuming more resources than it should, it's worth a conversation.

Merchant test cards are often the last thing a team thinks about before UAT. They shouldn't be.

One of India's largest payment aggregators, processing tens of millions of transactions daily, needed to validate its acquirer switch across seven networks: Visa, Mastercard, Discover, Amex, RuPay, JCB, and Sodexo.

Off-the-shelf cards weren't an option. Their switch ran on proprietary PAN ranges with network-specific CVM lists, ODA methods, and BIN routing logic.

A card built for a standard environment would create false confidence, leading the switch to appear to pass scenarios it had never truly encountered.

28 fully custom EMV merchant test cards. Delivered in two weeks. UAT ran without a single reconfiguration.

Everyone blamed the tool. The tool wasn't the problem.

A leading LATAM payment processor failed JCB ATM certification test and pointed it to our test tool. Our team went to the logs instead and found something no one else had caught.

Here's what happened.

In the payments testing, responsiveness is part of the delivery.

When something goes wrong during certification or testing, the cost is not just an inconvenience.

It means delayed go-to-market timelines.

That is why this note from a leading international payment network means a lot to us.

Not just because the issue was resolved, but because the team moved before it became a larger problem.

Kudos to Shruti, Kalyan, Shreyas, and Robert for making that happen.

𝗔𝗜 𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗹𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗮𝘀𝗲𝘀.

It isn't a trend to watch.

Its infrastructure is being built right now.

Some of the leading payment entities and fintechs have launched production-ready agentic commerce programs in the last 18 months.

Open protocols are being donated to standards bodies.

Regulators across the US, EU, UK, and India are actively writing the rules.

And most payment and fintech teams are still treating this as something to plan for later.

Our latest whitepaper, authored by Sabapathy Narayanan and Praveenkumar, covers what's actually happening:

✅ How agentic transactions are technically architected

✅ Who the key players are and how their approaches differ

✅ The upcoming protocols and which ones are actually getting traction

✅ Where does the compliance framework exist today, and where are the gaps

✅ How guardrails are keeping autonomous transactions safe and secure for consumers

And one question the payments industry hasn't fully answered yet: if 3DS secures three domains: acquiring bank, issuing bank, and interoperability domain, what happens when the agent becomes the fourth? We call it 𝟰𝗗𝗦, and it's the authentication challenge no one is talking about yet.

If your organization is in the commerce value chain, payments, retail, fintech, or financial services, this white paper is worth reading before the mandates move into implementation.

Issuer-host certification windows for Visa, Mastercard, and Discover DCI are scarce.

In the U.S. market, they're even harder to reschedule.

A leading LATAM payments infrastructure provider knew this going into their U.S. expansion.

They had built issuer hosts before. But they weren't willing to walk into formal certification without preparation.

The problem wasn't expertise. It was that debugging and certification readiness were two separate exercises, each requiring its own environment, process, and overhead.

Lithos brought both together in one place.

The team pre-validated their issuer host across all three networks in-house, without waiting for formal network debugging windows. When they entered formal certification, they were ready.

D-PAS E2E certification. First attempt. Two weeks.

Most teams underestimate what happens between "Ready to certify" and an actually certified terminal.

Both contact and contactless terminals need to pass.

One failure can trigger a full resubmission.

And most first-time failures come from configuration issues that should have been caught earlier.

On top of that, certification runs on the network's schedule.

It is for a licensed digital payments processor in Mexico that needed to expand terminal acceptance for DPAS E2E.

They needed a partner who already understood the process end to end.

The result:

✅ Certification passed on the first attempt

✅ Completed within two weeks

✅ Contact and contactless both approved

No resubmissions. No missed windows. No delays reaching merchants.

Host certification has a reputation for being slow.

You wait for a network test slot. And if something fails, you debug, fix, and resubmit and wait again.

Weeks go quietly.

So do the deployment timelines.

The issue is rarely the certification itself.

It is the process around it.

▸Manual debugging cycles

▸No real-time visibility

▸Test environments unavailable when needed

▸Failed iterations

Lithos is here to change that.

A cloud-based host simulator for acquirer, issuer, and network environments.

With pre-integrated test cases, automated validation, and real-time issue identification.

Teams can test in parallel from anywhere.

Without waiting for shared environments.

The goal is not just faster certification.

It is getting through in one iteration instead of three.

If your team is heading into host certification, the important conversation happens before the network/ lab slot is booked.

Happy Mother's Day to the women who carry more than anyone sees.

The early mornings. The late nights. The quiet decisions that hold everything together. The work that does not get measured, but shapes everything that does.

Every single day.

We're grateful for it.
