Its been a month and an year since most of us
joined IBM and I wanted to share some good news/experience i've had all these while.Right from the beginning since I joined IBM, I carried the confidence which I built during my IIITB stint. Irrespective of the technology used, the basic fundamental thought process which you had thought helped me adapt to the new environment.

Last week, I was surprised by my manager when I was declared the recipient of the "Quarterly Service Excellence award" for the contributions made in my 1st project itself. I'm one of the youngest recipient of this award.

I felt very happy to receive this as it was only because of the knowledge and confidence which I gained during the PGDSD which has enabled me to get this. Also the multiple technologies which we learnt by doing has enabled me to have a steep learning curve which is recognized widely in the company.

This award is dedicated to you both and all the staff who taught us."
