Major social media platforms are now penalising lazy AI content, and businesses relying on it are walking blind into a trap.

Look at the shifts happening across the board:

- Snapchat has stopped recommending fully AI-generated Spotlight content, prioritising human-created content.
- LinkedIn is adding a "seems like AI slop" button to let users flag low-quality, AI posts.
- YouTube is tightening monetisation rules for repetitive and mass-produced content.

The message is becoming increasingly clear.

AI is an incredible tool for accelerating creativity, but it isn't a substitute for originality.

For businesses, this changes the content strategy conversation.

Using AI to brainstorm ideas, improve visuals, or speed up production creates real value. But relying on it to mass-produce generic content is becoming a competitive disadvantage as platforms increasingly reward authenticity, expertise, and genuine human perspectives.

The future will belong to businesses that combine AI with creativity, domain knowledge, and a deep understanding of their customers.

At Toqsoft, we apply this exact principle to enterprise technology. Whether we're building custom AI-powered web/mobile apps, enterprise AI/ML systems, or intelligent customer communication solutions, AI only delivers real value when it amplifies human expertise rather than replacing it.

Businesses that treat AI as a force multiplier instead of a shortcut will be better positioned to build stronger products, stronger customer relationships, and stronger brands.

If you're looking to build smart, authentic tech solutions that drive real innovation, let's connect.

WhatsApp's latest update marks a turning point in how businesses communicate with customers.

WhatsApp is testing a new "Offers & Updates" folder that automatically moves messages from large businesses out of users' main chat list after a few hours.

It may look like a small UI change, but it reflects a much bigger shift in digital customer engagement.

As more businesses adopt AI-powered messaging, customers are flooded with promotions, delivery updates, bank alerts, and support notifications. This new folder helps users reclaim a cleaner inbox, but it also changes the rules for brands.

Messages can no longer rely on unread badges to get attention. They have to be relevant, timely, and genuinely useful.

Attention has become the scarcest resource.

Reaching a customer is no longer enough. Businesses have to earn relevance, deliver value, and communicate at the right moment. Otherwise, their messages risk being filtered, ignored, or forgotten.

That's where AI-powered customer communication needs to evolve.

Personalized conversations, intelligent automation, contextual recommendations, and timely support will matter far more than message volume.

At Toqsoft, we're helping businesses build AI-powered customer communication platforms, custom web/mobile apps, and intelligent automation systems that create meaningful customer experiences rather than adding to digital noise.

In an AI-first world, the businesses that win will be the ones customers actually want to hear from.

If you're looking to modernize customer engagement with AI-powered communication or intelligent automation, let's connect.

560,000 new apps launched in six months, but Downloads grew just 2%. And the trend is indicating something noticeable.

Around 560,000 new apps were released on Apple's App Store during H1 2026, which is almost as many as the ~600,000 released throughout 2025.

If that pace continues, new releases could exceed one million this year.

But App Store downloads grew by only 2%.

That widening gap reveals one of the biggest challenges of AI-assisted software development.

Tools such as Replit, Bolt.new and Claude Code are making it faster and easier to turn an idea into a working application. But reducing development time does not automatically create customer demand.

When almost anyone can build an app, the competitive advantage shifts from simply launching software to solving a problem better than everyone else. That requires more than generated code.

It requires:

- A clearly defined customer need
- Intuitive and accessible user experiences
- Secure, scalable architecture
- Reliable integration with existing systems
- Continuous improvement based on real user behaviour

This is especially relevant for businesses across the Middle East and Africa investing in mobile services, e-commerce, healthcare platforms, digital government and AI-powered enterprise applications.

AI can accelerate development. But it cannot create product-market fit, customer trust or long-term loyalty on its own.

At Toqsoft, we combine AI-assisted development with product thinking, system integration and cloud engineering to help businesses move from promising ideas to secure and scalable digital products that people continue to use.

As building software becomes easier and retaining customers more challenging, do you want to know what type or architecture of applications you must have? If the answer is yes, drop us a comment, and we shall get back to you via DM.

The AI race isn't just about better models anymore. It's about better infrastructure.

The signals are clearly indicating that the next phase of AI-powered software development will depend on more than better coding models. It will depend on where code, data, and development infrastructure reside.

Entire, the AI-native developer platform founded by former GitHub CEO Thomas Dohmke, has introduced an India region for its Distributed Git Network.

The platform allows developers and AI agents to access regional repository mirrors with lower latency while supporting local data-residency requirements.

India is the latest example, but the larger shift is relevant to enterprises across the Middle East and Africa.

As AI agents take on more coding, testing and development tasks, enterprises will need to answer some important questions:

- Can development infrastructure support thousands of automated actions?

- Can sensitive code and data remain within approved jurisdictions?

- Can cloud, legacy and third-party systems work together without creating new security or performance risks?

For regulated sectors such as government, financial services and healthcare, these are no longer purely technical considerations. They affect compliance, resilience, development speed and the organisation’s ability to scale AI safely.

AI may accelerate code creation, but it cannot compensate for weak architecture, disconnected systems or poor engineering governance. Business owners, and decision makers must be mindful that secure cloud foundations, well-integrated applications and systems designed around are real operational requirements.

That’s why, at Toqsoft, we help organisations across the Middle East and Africa modernise legacy applications, integrate complex enterprise systems and build scalable web, mobile, cloud and AI-powered solutions.

As AI becomes part of the development workforce, if your technology architecture not ready to support it, or want to evaluate for future-readiness, do drop us a comment, and we shall get in touch with you.

One conversation between Satya Nadella and Mark Zuckerberg revealed where software engineering is heading next.

During a keynote at Meta's inaugural LlamaCon, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella shared that AI now writes 20–30% of the code in some of Microsoft's repositories, with that share expected to grow.

When Nadella asked Mark Zuckerberg the same question, Zuckerberg predicted that up to half of Meta's engineering work could be handled by autonomous AI models within the next year.

Google has also confirmed that more than 25% of its internal production code is generated by AI.

Taken together, these are signals of a fundamental shift in software engineering.

Code generation is becoming faster. The real challenge is ensuring that what gets generated is secure, scalable, maintainable, and aligned with business objectives.

That changes the role of engineering teams.

Instead of spending most of their time writing repetitive code, developers can focus on system design, architecture, customer experience, and solving complex business problems.

At Toqsoft, we're integrating AI-assisted development into how we build custom web/mobile apps, cloud platforms, AI/ML solutions, IoT systems, and intelligent customer communication technologies.

The goal is to help businesses turn ideas into secure, scalable digital products faster, without compromising the engineering discipline required for long-term success.

If you're a tech leader looking to accelerate product development, modernize legacy systems, or integrate AI into your digital platforms, let's explore what an AI-first engineering approach could unlock for your business.

85% of DevSecOps professionals believe AI has created a new bottleneck in software development.

IBM has expanded its AI software engineering platform, Bob, with multi-agent capabilities, legacy modernization workflows, and built-in AI cost governance.

The timing makes sense.

As AI generates more code than ever before, enterprise teams are facing a different challenge:

* How do you review AI-generated code at scale?
* How do you validate quality and security?
* How do you govern AI across the development lifecycle?
* How do you modernize legacy systems without introducing new risk?

This is where enterprise AI is headed.

The conversation is no longer about generating code faster. It's about orchestrating AI agents, managing cost, ensuring compliance, maintaining quality, and delivering software businesses can trust.

IBM's research reinforces this shift: 85% of DevSecOps professionals believe AI has moved the bottleneck from writing code to reviewing and validating it.

That's exactly what we're seeing across the industry.

The organizations that gain the most from AI won't necessarily generate the most code. They'll build the best systems for governing, deploying, and continuously improving AI-assisted software development.

At Toqsoft, we're helping businesses prepare for this shift by building AI-powered applications, enterprise modernization solutions, intelligent automation workflows, and IoT systems.

We believe successful AI transformation is measured by how confidently organizations can deploy, scale, and operate AI-powered software.

If your organization is exploring enterprise AI, application modernization, or intelligent automation, let's connect.

Is your software architecture ready for ChatGPT Work?

OpenAI's latest release changes how software needs to work. With the rollout of ChatGPT Work and autonomous agents capable of executing multi-step projects across applications, the era of software designed only for humans is ending.

Until now, enterprise software was primarily built around manual human behaviour: employees logging in, filling out forms, downloading reports, and moving data between systems.

AI agents interact entirely differently.

They retrieve information through APIs, interpret business context and rules, execute actions, and maintain a clear record of their activities.

This creates an important question for CIOs, CTOs, and product leaders.

Can your current software safely support an AI agent that needs to process a refund, update inventory, approve a service request, or prepare a financial report?

Many legacy applications were never built for this type of interaction. Their data is fragmented, integrations are limited, and approval rules depend heavily on manual intervention.

If you try to plug a powerful agent into weak infrastructure, you risk security breaches, data corruption, and broken workflows.

Companies planning new software now need to consider both human users and AI autonomy from day one.

That means building secure APIs, structured data systems, role-based permissions, automated approval flows, and complete audit trails from the beginning.

At Tqosoft, we design custom web, mobile and cloud applications that can support today’s teams and tomorrow’s AI-led workflows.

ChatGPT Work is the market trigger. Your software architecture will determine how much value your business can actually capture from it.

Is your infrastructure holding you back from AI automation? Let's talk about building applications that are agent-ready.

At Toqsoft, our people are our greatest asset. 💚

We recently organised a preventive health check-up for our team, a small step toward making sure the people behind our technology are taken care of.

Most of us are so caught up in deadlines and deliverables that we push our health to the back burner. We skip annual check-ups, ignore warning signs, and convince ourselves we'll handle it eventually.

The reality is, most people only visit a doctor when something has already gone wrong.

That's exactly why we decided to bring the check-up directly to the Toqsoft office.

No scheduling hassle, no commutes, and zero excuses. Everyone got tested, got their results, and walked away with a clear picture of their health.

This is what investing in your team actually looks like. Because when our people thrive, our work thrives too.

This is just the beginning. More initiatives like this are coming.

What if your next software release is ready for review before you've finished your coffee?

Cursor has launched its first iOS app, allowing developers to start, monitor, and review AI coding agents directly from an iPhone or iPad.

For years, developers had to sit in front of powerful machines to write, test, and ship code.

Now, AI agents can work continuously in the cloud while developers review progress, give instructions, approve changes, and manage workflows from almost anywhere.

The developer's role is evolving.

Instead of spending every minute writing code, engineers are increasingly orchestrating AI agents, validating outputs, solving complex problems, and making architectural decisions.

Software development is becoming more asynchronous, and AI is becoming a persistent collaborator rather than just a coding assistant.

As AI agents become part of everyday workflows, businesses will increasingly expect software that automates routine ex*****on while people focus on strategy, quality, and innovation.

At Toqsoft, we see this as a major opportunity, but also a governance challenge.

When AI can generate code around the clock from anywhere, strong engineering discipline becomes even more important. Automated testing, secure CI/CD pipelines, code reviews, and governance frameworks are what keep rapid development reliable and secure.

That's how we build enterprise applications at Toqsoft. We combine AI-driven productivity with engineering practices that ensure scalability, security, and long-term maintainability.

If you're exploring AI-powered software development and building future-ready digital products, let's connect.

7 Chinese apps just exposed how easily an electric vehicle can be shut down!!!

The Indian government recently ordered Google and Apple to remove apps such as BAT-BMS, Epoch-i-ion, and Lossigy due to security concerns.

These apps were misused to target weak Bluetooth authentication in battery management systems used in some e-rickshaws. This allowed unauthorised users to bypass access controls and remotely shut down the battery without physically touching the vehicle, leaving drivers stranded in the middle of the road.

What looked like a sophisticated cyberattack was, at its core, a product security failure.

The bigger lesson extends far beyond e-rickshaws.

As software becomes embedded in vehicles, factories, medical devices, and critical infrastructure, weak authentication and insecure communication protocols are no longer just technical flaws. They become operational and public safety risks.

Digital trust cannot depend on app stores removing malicious apps after a vulnerability is discovered.

It starts with secure product design.

Strong authentication, encrypted communication, access controls, secure firmware, and continuous security testing should be built into connected products from day one, not added after deployment.

At Toqsoft, we help organisations build secure connected products. We develop AI-powered applications, IoT platforms, cloud solutions, and mobile applications with security embedded throughout the development lifecycle.

The future of connected technology will be defined by how secure, resilient, and trustworthy it remains in the real world.

If you're building connected products where security is business-critical, let's connect.
