Food for Thought or Thought for Food?
What happens when the future of digital transformation comes together to rethink the future of food and agriculture?
Mr. Jai Kumar, Founder and Director of Farmitopia Pvt Ltd, delivered a guest lecture to the first-year students of Indian Institute of Plantation Management, Bengaluru (IIPMB) on Digitization, Digitalization, and Digital Transformation - exploring how technology and innovation can address real-world challenges in the food and agriculture ecosystem.
The session was much more than a lecture. The students actively engaged with the topics, shared their perspectives, and explored how digital technologies can create meaningful change.
The session concluded with a hands-on exercise where students identified a problem statement, proposed an idea to solve it, and mapped the technologies, inventions, innovations, and transformations required to bring their ideas to life.
One of the most encouraging moments was seeing students approach our Founder after the session to seek guidance on their ideas and share their thoughts. These conversations reflect the curiosity, initiative, and problem-solving mindset needed to shape the future.
