We AIC Shiksha Infotech Foundation-Incubation Centre rejoicing on the success of the young genius R Praggnanandhaa. Proud of his accomplishment of winning against the noted champion Magnus Carlsen. We wish the talented Praggnanandhaa the very best for his future endeavors.

R Praggnanandhaa, a 16-year-old boy from Chennai, scored a historic victory over Magnus Carlsen, a world chess champion, as the latter made a tactical error in the Meltwater Champions Chess Tour Airthings Masters. Vishwanathan Anand and Pentala Harikrishna were the only two Indians ever to beat Magnus Carlsen in a tournament game. Praggnanandhaa had become the second-youngest Grandmaster in chess history in 2018.

Lata Mangeshkar passed away on Sunday (6 February) morning, here are some interesting and lesser-known facts about the private and professional life of the legendary singer.

• Inspired by a character's name in her father's play, her birth name was changed to Lata Mangeshkar from Hema Mangeshkar.

• She was very shy about meeting people. But everyone wanted to just see her.

• She liked singing the lighter songs as much as the acclaimed serious songs,

• Lataji never listened to her songs as she would find several faults in her singing.

• She was the second Indian vocalist after MS Subbalakshmi to be conferred with Bharat Ratna.

• The Guinness Book of Records in 1974 had listed Lata Mangeshkar as the most recorded artist.

• Her most numbers duets are with legendary vocalist Mohammed Rafi.

• She was a very passionate cricket fan who witnessed the 1983 World Cup victory.

In a heartbreaking loss to the nation, legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar passed away around 8 am at Mumbai's Breach Candy Hospital on 6th February. She was 92. The singer was hospitalised after she tested positive for COVID-19 and was suffering from pneumonia.
