Kotlin/Everywhere 2019 in 'Namma' Bengaluru
Bringing Kotlin/Everywhere to Bengaluru, the first event of the series.!

Kotlin/Everywhere is a series of community-led events, in collaboration with
JetBrains and Google, where you can learn the essentials and best practices of
Kotlin in Android, Google Cloud Platform, and multi-platform development.
Kotlin/Everywhere 2019 in ‘Namma’ Bengaluru will be held by the local
developer community together with JetBrains in the city of Bengaluru, India.

Our speakers will be giving talks about the usage of Kotlin/Everywhere: on
Android, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), multi-platform, and more. In addition to
that - you can get hands-on experience with Kotlin from the multiple CodeLabs
held at the event.

UiPath Power Up Automation Hackathon
UiPath invites hackers, creators, makers and coders to solve problems, push
the boundaries of existing tech and power up the next generation of software
robots.

Automation technology will have a major impact on how we work, not only in
enterprise and the NGO sector, but in our day to day lives. This emerging
technology is quickly becoming the norm, and early adopter developers are at
the forefront of Automation innovation.

For this Hackathon, we are looking for experienced RPA developers, or any
other types of developers with 6+ years experience and expertise in Java,Net, Python, C++ to come join a 24-hour Hackathon in Bengaluru on 11-12 May.
To be considered to attend this event, you will need fill in an application
form providing us with details about your developer skills and capabilities.
Ideally, you will already familiar with the UiPath platform and are a
certified user. This will be essential for you to be an active participant at
the Hackathon.

and WhiteSky Labs. Ashok holds a BE in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA from
IIM B

Session2: Pranav Mehra
Pranav is the VP of Engineering at ConverseNow.AI where he owns the ex*****on
and delivery of the product and leads the engineering operations including
conversation UX, NLP & ML development, front and back end, QA & Dev-Ops
functions. Prior to ConverseNow, he worked at Samsung, where he developed and
commercialized NLP solutions for Samsung Personal Assistant in flagship
Samsung Galaxy devices. Pranav holds a BSc in Statistics and an MCA from
Bangalore University.

We are excited to call out all tech enthusiasts for a "2-full day" Kotlin
workshop on 5th & 6th April 2019 at ThoughtWorks - Koramangala. This is an
invite-only workshop. Please register with the below link to participate.

What you can expect from this workshop:

This 2-day workshop would be a hands-on session to explore Kotlin using
different programming paradigms such as functional, reactive etc. The idea is
to come together, brainstorm and learn a new programming language!

Trainer Profiles:

Kumar is a Lead Developer with ThoughtWorks India and is involved in the
creation of medium to large-scale enterprise applications. He brings in solid
development experience for projects utilizing technology stacks such as
C #/.NET, Go and Java/J2EE to solve complex business problems. Kumar has 9+
years of development experience in ThoughtWorks, and five years of product
development experience in the networking domain.

Mritunjay has been working with ThoughtWorks for more than 5 years. He
finished his internship and joined as an Application Developer. He has been
involved in various projects with tech stacks Java, Python, Kafka, Cassandra
and Docker.

Pre-requisite for the workshop
\------------------------------------------
An open mind and deep passion for software development and delivery are pre-
requisites to gain the most from this workshop.
Programming experience in application development in languages like
Java/C #/Ruby/Python etc.
Experience Range between 4 to 9 years
