USB Type C is here: Faster charging, quicker data, smaller mobiles and the death of AC laptop chargers

At last the new USB Type C connector is ready for mass production. It will come with reversible ends, featuring the same small connector on either end. But it means so much more for new smartphones, tablets and even laptops.

The new USB Type C will mean faster charging, quicker data transfer rates and thanks to the smaller connectors, smaller phones can be made too. The Type-C plug is compatible with the USB 3.1 standard meaning super fast data transfer rates.

Faster charging, smaller gadgets

The big sell for most users is going to be faster charging. USB Type C can deliver power at up to 100 watts at 20 volts. This means that larger devices can now be charged from USB, including laptops and monitors. Say goodbye to the clunky AC adapters we've been lugging around until now.

In real world use this will mean much faster charging of compatible mobiles, tablets and now even laptops. This can be done while transferring data at the same time, something previous standards could not always manage.

This should also mean the need for a separate power port, with large innards, will be gone allowing manufacturers to make even smaller laptops for example.

New connections

The only downside to a new USB is the need for all new gadgets to fit it. While these gadgets can be smaller thanks to smaller USB ports it will mean older kit becomes out-dated.

USB will be offering an adapter of course but if Apple's Lightning connector change is anything to go by these won't be used for long. And like the Lightning connector USB Type C should work either way up with an 8.4mm by 2.6mm connector end.

There will be plenty of adapters making USB Type C backwards compatible so anyone can adopt it immediately.

USB Type C will have a similar sized end to the smaller end of current USB 2.0 cables, except it will be like that at both ends. This is an 18-pin connector which, it’s claimed, will last the same 10,000 cycles as Micro-USB does.

Better data bandwidth

USB Type C is compatible with up to 10Gbps data transfer rates. That means a full movie can be transferred in a single second, theoretically. With wireless data being used more often but being limited, this new USB standard may cause a resurgence of cable connection use as super high-speed data rates are required for things like gaming on tablets connected to TVs.

The USB Type C connector has been designed so that it can be scaled with future developments in speed meaning the shape itself shouldn't need to change again for a long time.

When can we expect to see USB Type C? Certainly in 2015 as it's ready to go now. But it's a case of waiting for manufacturers to adopt it. Since it means saving money on power adapters and shrinking gadgets it shouldn't be long before all phones, tablets and laptops start using USB Type C.

How to identify a fake Facebook profile

"Recent statistics show that at least 10 per cent of about 1.35 billion Facebook users are not authentic. Besides, there are millions of users who create fake identities and appear as regular users," FakeOff creator Eliran Shachar told PTI.

Fake profiles are divided into several groups including criminals, commercial and psychological, that can risk reputations (identity theft), children (paedophiles and sexual abuse), property (home break-ins) and personal safety,

Here are top 10 ways to identify a fake Facebook account:

1. Look for photos in the profile.If there is only one photo of the individual in the whole profile it makes it quite clear that the account is fake.

Go to his/her profile, right-click on the DP(display picture / profile picture) and click on Search Google for image option or download DP and then go to Google images Click on Camera icon which says Search by image, Click on Upload an Image, now choose the Picture you had downloaded earlier , Now once the uploading Completes, Google will show you Similar Images that already exist over internet.
2. Most of DP's would be a girl's image. A girl DP with more followers will be fake account.

3. He/She will not write more on about page in that account.

4. Check out the friends list. More friends with opposite gender will be a fake account.

5. Check for birth date. Most of the fake accounts will will be with DOB as April 1st, Jan 1st, Dec 31st, as it is quite unique and easy to type in.

6.Check the info. If person is interested in looking for dating have a more signs of being a fake account.

7. Check out the status updates from that account. Most of fake account users will not involve in updating usual kind of events or sharing links or commenting on others posts.

8. Person will add more friends continuously (mostly opposite genders), but there are no pages liked or groups joined

9. The profile is highly inactive and involved only in Facebook apps like farmville or etc.. mostly these type of accounts could be a fake one. They were created by someone for gaining more points on such games/apps.

10. Look for photos. Mostly, the photos folder will have no photos or with any sexual images or the folder having one or two or even with more photos of any random celebrity.

May the above files may be corrupted due to power failure or Virus. Make available above files from other Computer. OR Reinstall Windows 98 Operating System. (This procedure will not make any effect on existing Data).

26. WINDOWS REGISTRY ERROR
This will happen due to sudden ON/OFF of the system. Final solution is to Reinstall Operating System.

Laptop OverHeating ??? Check out solutions!!!

While laptop chip sets and transistors become more densely packed in today's models, overheating is a problem that many people complain of from time to time. Most manufacturers fail to foresee the impact of overheating on the performance of a laptop computer, and thus pack these parts more closely together in order to save space and cost. Some brands also offer inefficient cooling systems inside their machines, and this also further compounds the problem.

But to place the blame entirely on manufacturers would be a mistake, as in a majority of cases overheating occurs because the user has left the laptop switched on and running heavy programs for a long time, or because the room in which the user is operating is not ventilated properly. When a laptop suffers from overheating there are many malfunctions and problems that come to the surface, and if this carries on for a while the computer hardware inside gets damaged permanently.

Laptop Overheating and Shutting Down

In most cases the laptop will simply shut down in the middle of some task when it gets overheated. The user should understand this symptom and accept that the hardware needs some time to cool down. If you switch on the machine right after and the laptop overheats and shuts off again, you need to just let it lie for an hour or two. This will be sufficient time for the laptop to cool down completely, and then you can resume your work.

Overheating of the laptop is something that happens when some heavy duty software and applications are running on the machine. For this reason, most laptops overheat when the user has been gaming on them for a long time. Gaming laptops are designed to combat these heating problems but using them for prolonged periods will inevitably lead to the surfacing of this problem. Other signs of overheating are the blue screen of death, operation errors, memory errors and loud and excessive fan operation.

Solutions for Overheating

People looking to fix the overheating problem can adopt a few time tested methods for the same. These methods will work with differing variations for different laptop models, but they will work nonetheless. The best solution of course, is to just switch off the laptop and leave it alone for about 2 hours at the most. If this is not possible, here are some more possible solutions for how to cool laptops that you can use.

· Try not to use your laptop outside in the sun for a long time, as this is one of the primary causes of overheating problems.

· Clean dust and debris off your laptop on a regular basis. Failure to do so will lead to the dirt creeping inside the machine eventually, and this will cause overheating problems. Here are some ways on how to find laptop temperature and see if this problem plagues you.

· You can also try removing the power plug for the laptop when you are using it from time to time. If you use the power plug at all times, overheating is bound to happen sooner or later.

· If you are not going to be using the laptop for a prolonged period, switch it off instead of leaving it in Sleep mode or Hibernation mode. There are plenty more computer problems and solutions that you need to be aware of.

· Do not keep your laptop on a hard metallic surface, as the surface heats up quicker. Use it on wood or place it on a cloth of some sort.

· Buy a laptop cooling pad which offers more than one external fan. This lowers the temperature inside the laptop with the help of the additional fan, and also provides a safe surface to place the laptop on.

· Ensure that the temperature of the room where you are using the laptop is not too high. If you have additional fans or an air conditioner in the room, switch them on.

· Give the laptop to a computer repair store and ask them to open it up and clean the insides at least once a year. The accumulation of dust can cause some serious overheating problems, and this must be avoided in the best way possible.

All these solutions will produce different results for different people, since everyone has their own method and space for using their laptops. A combination of any of these methods should be sufficient to solve all your overheating problems, and increase the longevity of your machine.

1)Disable all the start up files except ANTIVIRUS
this can be done by following these steps

Go to "run".
Type "msconfig" in run and press enter .
Go to start up.
Disable all files.(except antivirus)

2)Prefetch files

Go to "run".
Type "prefetch".
Delete all files.
(windows 7 users don't delete your prefetch files, I'm using tuneup 2013 and it asked me not to delete
the prefetch folder files. your system will be slowed down if you delete those files)

3)Visual effects
Right click on 'my computer'>Go to system properties>Go to advanced settings
Then click on the Setting in Performance then choose the option”Adjust for best appearance”or you can choose”custom”.

4)Automatic updates
Even though your system is genuine better to turn off your Automatic updates.There are many reasons which slow down your processor speed if you turn on Automatic updates.few reasons are:-

Most of your RAM speed is used by Xp Operating System.If the resources of your XP is increased then Operating System may slow down.It indirectly effects the processor speed.
If your click on Live Up dates then there may be chances of Virus entering in your system.which leads your processor speed slow.

5)De-fragmentation
This is the major step which increases your Processor speed.Steps to perform De-fragmentation

Go to my computer.
Right click on C drive. Click on properties.
Choose the option Defragment now.

6)Removing virus
Virus such as Trojan, vorm.exe, sass.exe etc which slow down your processor speed.So download any good antivirus software such as Norton,Spyware terminator,Kaspersky etc.I would prefer Kaspersky it is a best antivirus software.Norton may slow down your system performance.
