What is the Endurance Testing?

Endurance testing is a non-functional testing. it also known as soak testing.
The main goal is to discover how system behave under sustained use.
It is basically used to check the memory leaks of the application.

What is the difference between Sanity & Smoke testing?

Sanity Testing:- Checking new feature of the build and new bug fixes or code changes of the build.

Smoke Testing:- Checking all core feature feature of the product known as Smoke testing.

Ex: Checking the searching functionality of the Flipkart application.

What is A/B testing?

A/B testing is also known as split testing. In AB testing, we create and analyse two variants of an application in order to find which variant performs better in terms of user experience, leads, conversions or any other xyz goal and then eventually keeping the better performing variant.

What is Smoke testing?

Smoke testing is a type of testing in we execute the most crucial tests to make sure that the application can be considered for further exhaustive testing or not. It is also known as build verification testing.
It is performed right after the testing team receives the build. A subset of test cases is run over the build covering the most important functionalities. The functionality covered by the smoke tests are crucial, failing of which results in rejection of build.

Example- Smoke tests for some application like GMail will include test cases that are very critical to the app e.g. user should be able to login to the application, inbox should be populated with received mails, user should be able to compose and send mail etc.

What is usability testing?

Usability testing is a type of non-functional testing which determines the degree to which an application can be easily used and operated. It can be performed by the internal team or a small set of end users who explore the different functionalities of the application and share the usability defects.

What is Test Strategy?

A Test Strategy is a high-level document describing the way testing will be carried out. In a test strategy document, we document the test objectives and set of guidelines for achieving those objectives. It is presented by the project manager to all the stakeholders in the testing process. It can have a scope of an entire organisation or a particular project.
