Success isn’t measured by the size of the office. It’s measured by the consistency of the hustle.
While walking through the streets of Bangalore today, I stopped to watch a Maize corn vendor.
In the world of high-end branding and digital marketing, we often get lost in "metrics," "funnels," and "synergy." But here, on a dusty street corner, was a masterclass in the fundamentals of business.
1. Product-Market Fit: He’s exactly where his customers are—hungry, on the move, and looking for a quick, warm comfort.
2. Real-Time Quality Control: You watch the corn roast. You smell the char. You see the fresh lime being rubbed on. That is "transparency in branding" at its finest.
3. The Lean Startup: No fancy storefront. No massive overhead. Just a cart, a coal fire, and a relentless work ethic.
I see people walk past and smile, or even dismiss these small vendors. But I see an entrepreneur. I see a person managing supply chains, inventory, customer service, and "production" all at once—with zero room for error.
I believe every business deserves respect. Whether I’m building a personal brand for a Doctor, shooting a commercial for a Gym, or documenting a street-side vendor—the story is the same: Someone had the courage to start.
The scale might be different, but the soul of the business is identical.
Next time you see a "small" vendor, don’t just see a roadside stall. See the grit. See the entrepreneur. Respect the hustle.
