The indian Government has an ePaymentGateway which mandates all payments above 25000 Rs to be directly credited to a bank account and eliminates the process of clearing cheques. This is a great move towards mitigating corruption .

With an aim to eliminate any corruption in government payments, all the departments will henceforth credit payment of over Rs 25,000 directly into the account of payees.
