Rotary Year 2025–2026 ~ My Journey as President, Rotary Bangalore Orchards

As I look back on my year as President of Rotary Bangalore Orchards, I do so with gratitude, humility, and pride.

The final two months of the Rotary year reflected everything our club stands for- service, leadership, fellowship, and friendship. None of this would have been possible without the support of our members, families, CSR partners, well-wishers, and the entire RBO family.

✨ May-June 2026 Highlights

- Welcomed President Rtn. Sunil Tellakula and his leadership team, wishing them a successful Rotary year ahead.
- Celebrated our journey at the Presidential Banquet, reflecting on friendships, teamwork, and shared achievements.
- Joined fellow Rotarians in celebrating the installation of our Past President, Rtn. Ravishankar Dakoju, as District Governor-a proud moment for RBO.
- Enjoyed a memorable Fellowship Trip to Sakleshpur, strengthening the bonds that make Rotary more than a service organisation.
- Had a wonderful Music Fellowship with Rotary Bangalore Indiranagar, bringing members and families together through music, talent, and fellowship.
- Conducted Members & Speaker Meetings, including the RBO @50 session led by Rtn. Ramkumar Seshu, to share ideas for our club's future.
- Held our 4th Club Assembly to review the year and hand over to the incoming leadership.
- Crossed a milestone of 1,364+ blood units collected, helping save countless lives.
- Continued working with like-minded organizations to create meaningful community impact.

Looking back, the true success of this year lies not only in the projects we completed, but in the relationships we strengthened, the lives we touched, and the trust we built together.

To every member of Rotary Bangalore Orchards, thank you for your trust, encouragement, friendship, and unwavering support. The love and warmth that Sowmya and I received throughout this journey will always remain close to our hearts.

As President of Rotary Bangalore Orchards, I am grateful for the opportunity to lead a dedicated team of Rotarians committed to service, fellowship, and community impact.

🌱 Service & Community Impact
• Strengthened skill-based education through major CSR initiatives at MEI Polytechnic and Malleshwaram PU College, including advanced CNC, computer, and learning lab infrastructure.
• Supported education and nation-building initiatives at government schools.
• Conducted multiple blood donation drives across IISc, The Home School, Sri Gurudwara–Ulsoor, and Brigade Tower–Yeshwantpur, Volvo, Rameshwaram Cafe Malleshwaram helping cross a milestone of 1,145 blood units collected within seven months.

🤝 Club Growth & Leadership
• Celebrated the 40th Charter Night, honoring our legacy while inspiring the next generation of Rotary leaders.
• Conducted impactful Members & Speaker Meetings featuring thought leaders who encouraged learning, personal growth, and stronger member engagement.
• Held a productive Club Assembly to review progress, align priorities, and strengthen our roadmap for greater impact.
• Celebrated recognition of our Major Donors and CSR partners at Krithagnyathe, reinforcing the culture of giving and service.

💙 Fellowship & Member Engagement
• Celebrated Women’s Day with a focus on Vocational Service and recognition of inspiring contributions.
• Strengthened bonds through fellowship events including the Ayodhya–Varanasi spiritual journey and Republic Day gathering at Lalbagh.
• Continued building a vibrant Rotary family through meaningful participation of members, spouses, children, and well-wishers.

Looking back, these months have been marked by meaningful projects, stronger partnerships, active member participation, and measurable community impact. My sincere gratitude to all Rotarians, families, CSR partners, donors, and volunteers who have contributed to this journey.
