𝗠𝗶𝗰𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝗰𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗺𝘆 is our commitment to early-career talent. And this is its very first batch.

Meet 21 graduates from GITAM Deemed University and New Horizon College of Engineering, now onboarded and deployed across customer programs after their internship and training with us.

Being the founding cohort, this connect was never going to be a lecture. It was an exchange. What's the journey been like? What does this generation want from work? What are they looking out for?

CEO Sam Mathew and CHRO Vithal Acharya sat down with them to talk about career growth, continuous learning, industry readiness, and the doors that open early in a career here.

A few threads ran through it all:

1) Strong careers start with strong foundations, fundamentals, learning agility, ownership, a growth mindset.

2) Relevance is earned, never assumed. In a landscape this fast, the learning simply doesn't stop.

3) Value is the point. Knowing how your work lands for the customer and the business changes how you show up.

4) The future favours the ready. AI-driven change and shifting expectations reward those who prepare now.

They're Microland's future leaders, and they're off to a strong start.

𝗚𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗻𝗲𝘄𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗔𝘃𝗮𝘀𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲!

Microland has been named a 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗠𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲.

Over 76 global technology service providers went through a year-long assessment, with 18 ultimately recognized. The evaluation assessed 𝗗𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆, including end-to-end service capabilities, transformation ex*****on, flexible commercial models and value creation, as well as 𝗙𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗴, including investments in emerging technologies, talent development, strategic partnerships and business model innovation.

Recognition like this is built over time, by our 𝗠𝗶𝗰𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀, across hundreds of client environments. 𝗛𝘂𝗴𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺!

Meet Batch 1 of 𝗖𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗹𝘆𝘀𝘁 𝟮.𝟬: 22 leaders, three months, and one major leadership upgrade.

From December 2025 to March 2026, 22 leaders at P4 and P5 level went through an immersive journey of case-study-based experiential learning, reinforced through leadership connects, group connects, and ongoing nudges. Bootcamps, 4 leadership cafes, 3 group connects, and finally a graduation ceremony. Their verdict: interesting, challenging, and genuinely upskilling.

The purpose was simple and ambitious at once. Transform the organisation through its leaders, building capability across managing self, managing teams, managing business, and reading the market and technology shifts that shape all three.

The journey isn't over. Capstone projects come next, taking these learnings into real business challenges while pushing forward on AI-led transformation, innovation, and customer value.

CEO Sam Mathew and CHRO Vithal Acharya closed the loop in person, hearing feedback, reflecting on the journeys, and exploring how the learning is already shaping these managers as people leaders and business leaders.

The graduation's done, but the leadership journey has only just begun.

Stars of Microland is our flagship annual recognition of Microlanders who have reached significant long-tenure milestones - honoring their commitment, contribution and enduring belief in what we can accomplish together.

This year, as part of our hashtag celebrations, we honored 51 Microlanders completing 10 years, 16 completing 15 years, 25 completing 20 years, and our Forever Star, Rob Farro.

These milestones represent far more than years. They represent the people and relationships behind every journey - a leader who believed, a colleague who stood alongside them, a customer who challenged them, a team that grew with them and, importantly, families whose support made the journey possible.

To every Star, thank you for being part of the Microland story thus far. Here's to all that lies ahead.

🌱 Restoring the Nilgiris, with communities at the centre.

Microland Foundation is committed to Nurturing Nilgiris: to restore its fragile shola-grassland and wetland ecosystems, and to do it in a way that lasts. For the Foundation, this was never about restoring a single site. It is about building awareness, local skills, and community ownership of the environment, so the land is protected by the people who know it best.

Project SHOLA (Shola Habitat Outspread & Local Action) is how that commitment takes shape on the ground: a community-led initiative to restore the wetlands and interconnected shola-grassland ecosystems of the Upper Nilgiris.

The latest milestone: the Project SHOLA Community-Led Wetland Restoration and Demonstration Centre at Katlada Bridge, Doddacombai, inaugurated by Tmt. Lakshmi Bhavya Tanneeru, I.A.S., District Collector, The Nilgiris.

The Centre is a working hub for native plant propagation, wetland and habitat restoration, community training, and environmental education. And the work will be done by the community itself: native seed collection, nursery development, propagation, restoration, and long-term maintenance, building skills and livelihoods alongside the ecology.

The initiative brings together the Nilgiris District Administration, Government of Tamil Nadu, Tamil Nadu State Rural Livelihood Mission, Edhkwehlynawd Botanical Refuge (EBR) led by Dr. Tarun Chhabra, civil society and NGO partners, local and tribal leaders including the Kota Tribe community, and Women’s Self-Help Groups.

As Kalpana Kar, Managing Trustee, Microland Foundation, puts it: “It is not about doing something for the community; it is about working with the community.”
Because lasting conservation is not about restoring a site. It is about building the knowledge, capability, and ownership to protect it for generations.
