I landed in Delhi, and we went straight to The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways wasting no time to try our luck!

Fortunately for us, we were able to meet Mr. Sanket Bhondve, IAS, Private Secretary to the Hon’ble Transport Minister of India Shri Nitin Gadkari.

I presented him G-Fleet, our cloud monitoring solution for large fleets, also assured him that our solution can help find the quickest way to build road strategies and then we can ambitiously target the ZERO collision mark.

He was fairly convinced and offered full support of the ministry to our initiative .io , so that’s a start!

He also referred our solution to Mr. Kunal Joshi, Principal Consultant to the Hon’ble Minister. We were able to speak with him in his office and he said that the Ministry is working on the fatigued driving part on top priority for commercial vehicles and they plan to complete it as soon as possible. As for private vehicles, there is no such plan. He asked us to visit again, so we can speak about it more.

Next time I’ll try to get a picture inside. I was too involved in the presentation and the valuable insight directly from the Top of the Ministry. It was my first B2G meeting and it was great because I didn’t expect anything!
