In case you were wondering whether Samsung will launch a new Galaxy Note model this year, you can rest assured that it’s happening. At least, Samsung just confirmed that a high-end smartphone is planned for the second half of the year, and that can only be Galaxy Note 8.

HTC U 11: all the rumors in one place

This year, HTC has decided to unveil its successor a little later than usual. The company has already confirmed that it will take the wraps off the U 11 on May 16. The reason for this is probably because of supply shortages of the Snapdragon 835, which is rumored to power the device. Samsung apparently had first dibs on the chipset, which is found in the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus. It now looks like Qualcomm​'s latest processor is available in larger quantities, as the announcement of the U 11 is just around the corner.

Google Posts Dates Of When Support Will End For Nexus/Pixel Devices

Google is no different but the good news is that at least Pixel/Nexus owners have an expiry date to look forward to.
Google has recently published updated timeframes on its website in which they indicate when support and updates for its Pixel and Nexus devices will end. Starting with the Nexus, owners of the Nexus 6P and Nexus 5X can expect that Android version updates will no longer be guaranteed after September 2017, and that there will also be no guaranteed security patch updates after September 2018.

REFURBISHED Note 7 with Android 7.0 Nougat Will launch in South korea

We still don’t know when or where the Note 7 will go on back on sale (though the US and Canada has been ruled out), or for how much, though Sam Mobile suggests the “S” part of the model code indicates that the device is bound for Samung’s home nation, South Korea.

XIAOMI MI 6 IS NOW OFFICIAL: 6 GB OF RAM, SNAPDRAGON 835 AND A DUAL CAMERA
Xiaomi has finally introduced its new flagship device today, April 19. The Xiaomi Mi 6 stepped back from the global market after its halfhearted attempt to expand the brand's reach with its presentation of the Mi 5 in Barcelona. The Mi 6 looks great and, as usual, it comes packing serious hardware. A Chinese TENAA listing now shows some more exclusive color variants.

Galaxy Note 8 could offer a dual-camera setup that's 'much better than that of iPhone 7 Plus'
Renowned Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo of KGI Securities has dished out a few details on the Galaxy Note 8. In a note released to investors obtained by 9to5Google, Kuo said that the phone will feature a dual-camera setup with a 12MP wide-angle lens and a 13MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. Both imaging sensors will offer OIS and six-element lenses, with Kuo stating that the dual rear cameras will be the "most important upgrade" in the Note 8.

Samsung today held the most awaited smartphone launch of the year. As expected, the company took the wraps off from Samsung’s flagship Galaxy S8 smartphone along with the Galaxy S8+. Company’s voice assistant tech Bixby also made its debut right at the beginning of the event.
