For almost 3 years, we kept this matter private and trusted due process. But after nearly a decade of building Dealcliq, we feel it is time to share our story.
We received a trademark objection stating our name is similar to Tata Cliq. While we deeply respect Tata, Dealcliq was built from scratch independently in 2017. It represents years of hard work, honest effort, and the trust of thousands of customers—including the Indian Army and Reliance Industries.
WE ARE NOT TRYING TO PROTECT A WORD. WE ARE TRYING TO PROTECT NEARLY A DECADE OF EFFORT ATTACHED TO THAT WORD.
We respectfully hope the leadership at Tata Cliq will see the human side of our journey. Thank you to everyone who has believed in us. 🙏
