The Seven Sisters are seven beautiful states in the northeastern part of India:

Arunachal Pradesh 🏔️
It is the largest of the Seven Sisters.
It is famous for mountains, forests, and beautiful valleys.
Itanagar is its capital.
Assam 🐘
Famous for tea gardens and the one-horned rhinoceros.
The mighty Brahmaputra River flows through Assam.
Dispur is its capital.
Meghalaya ☔
The name Meghalaya means “abode of clouds.”
It is famous for waterfalls and green hills.
Shillong is its capital.
Manipur 🌺
Known for its beautiful Loktak Lake.
It is famous for Ras Lila, a traditional dance.
Imphal is its capital.
Mizoram 🌿
A beautiful state with green hills and forests.
Its people are known for their colorful traditions and dances.
Aizawl is its capital.
Tripura 🏛️
Famous for the beautiful Ujjayanta Palace.
It has many green forests and interesting tribal cultures.
Agartala is its capital.
Nagaland 🪶
Famous for its colorful Hornbill Festival.
It has many hills and unique tribal traditions.

💡 Extra fact: Sikkim is also in Northeast India, but it is not one of the original Seven Sisters. It is often called the “brother” of the Seven Sisters.

Rich cultural diversity: The region is home to more than 200 indigenous tribes, each with unique languages, traditions, and festivals. 🙏 Prayer for the People of Assam Affected by Floods

O Almighty God,

We pray for all the people of Assam who are suffering due to the devastating floods.

May You protect every family, keep them safe from harm, and give strength to those who have lost their homes, livelihoods, and loved ones.

Bless the rescue teams, volunteers, healthcare workers, and everyone working tirelessly to bring relief and hope.

May those who are displaced find shelter, food, clean water, and comfort. Grant courage to the children, peace to the elderly, and resilience to every affected heart.

Guide the waters to recede swiftly, restore the land, and bring healing and renewal to the beautiful state of Assam.

May compassion unite us all, inspiring us to help those in need with kindness, generosity, and love.

May hope rise stronger than the floodwaters.
