It was conceptualized with the mission to build up the capacities of the youth in the field of soft skills, BPO/ITes, Computer Education- an area, which have all this time been neglected but tremendously gaining importance for all walks of life in India and abroad. In this sector, we take pride in being the pioneer Institution in the state. We specialize in imparting trainings in the field of Soft skills, Spoken English & Communication skills, Personality Development, Body Language BPO/ITes, Data Entry, Secretarial Practice and different levels of Computer education- from Basics to Computer aided Engineering/Architecture courses like, Auto-Cad and Hardware & Networking, getting used to working on MS Office Suite and certain specific application software packages being used by specific organizations. Our training covers the theoretical as well as the practical aspects and follows the interactive teaching techniques. We have well equipped IT and Soft Skills training centre at Chanmari, Aizawl which is centrally located. This facility includes six Halls - 1 Soft skills development class room, 2 Computer Labs, 1 Hardware Classroom and 2 Offices, respectively. We have our own Human Resource (HR) Placement Division, which is looking after placement for our trainees thereby, catering to the requirements of skilled manpower in the job market within and outside the state of Mizoram. The Center, since its inception have been imparting trainings to more than 700 students in Communication skills, Personality development, Data entry, Computer education, etc. Our students range from Students, House wives, Businessmen and Government employees, who have come to hone their skills in different areas. We have imparted training programs with different Government Agencies like, Information & Communication Technology Department, Government of Mizoram, Ministry of Minority Affairs, Ministry of Textiles and Ministry of DoNER, Government of India. We designed a web portal and also digitized Ration cards of all the 8 districts for the Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs department,Govt of Mizoram. Accent+ is a local partner of ROLTA India Ltd, a Mumbai based MNC, which is taking up a 7 Crores project called Crime & Criminal Tracking Network & Systems (CCTNS), a Mission Mode Project (MMP) in Mizoram under the Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. Under this police modernization project, we have trained 3000+ Police personnels, from constables upto superintendent of Police at 10 training centres throughout Mizoram. We have set up 94 police stations, all linked up for data\information sharing with a Data centre at Aizawl, manned by our team 24 by 7. We digitized critical Police informations and records of 10 years. Our dedicated professional handholding support team is manning all the police stations of the state. Accent+ is spearheading a 7+ Crores project under the Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. of India, called 'Aizawl City Surveillance Project' in partnership with KSJ Dynamic Security(P)Ltd, A Delhi based Company. Under this project, Capacity Building of police personnels, setting up of Control room, setting up of CCTV’s at all the strategic locations of Aizawl city. Currently, Accent+ is working on an innovative project in setting up a state of the Art - GIS Lab in association with the Geology & Mining Resources Department, Govt. A concept note in this regard has been prepared and submitted to the NEC for approval through G&MR. A team of 10 technical graduates are currently undergoing GIS training at our centre, who in turn, after successful completion of training will be heading the project under different departments.
