An introductory session on “How to start my own Enterprise” was organized at L.D. College of Engineering on Jan 30, 2016 by ‘Radiance’ & ‘LD Alumni Association’. The speaker Mr. J. C. Shukla, a mentor at IIM Ahmedabad and MD of Nahak Overseas Limited, guided students and faculties of different colleges on “How can one use ICT (Information and Communication Technology) to start their own startup and be independent”. More than 150 students & faculties have actively participated in the event.
Mr. J. C. Shukla, provided the brief introduction about different websites such as ideaconnection.com, indiegogo.com, herox.com, freelancer.com, herox.com, etc. and informed them how they can utilize internet, phone, and ICT to solve the problems and even earn money sitting at home, eventually leading them to their own enterprises. Many other LD Alumni were present at the event to interact with students and share their lifelong experience. He provided the knowledge of how these sites work and we can use them to get funded, mentors, resources and ultimately solving their problems and even selling their problems. Students actively shared their views and problems, where as Mr. Shukla helped them to go to next step to solve them & making them learn how to solve them.
