Client: “We want something timeless.”
Also client after seeing Spotify’s disco logo:
“Can ours spin or glow?” 🪩✨
Spotify temporarily gave its iconic logo a disco-ball makeover for its 20th anniversary as part of the “Spotify 20: Your Party of the Year(s)” campaign 🎶
And honestly… genius move.
Because they didn’t change the logo.
They changed the personality of the logo.
Suddenly the brand felt:
🪩 nostalgic
⚡ energetic
🎉 celebratory
📸 extremely repostable
That’s what good branding does.
One visual tweak and the whole internet starts acting like chrome was invented yesterday. 💀
No full rebrand.
No dramatic “new era.”
Just vibes, strategy, and a shiny circle doing PR better than most campaigns. 🚀
