Most drone survey data dies in a folder, because opening it needs a GIS licence and three days nobody has.

Avlokan puts everything one flight produces into one browser tab: orthomosaic, elevation models, point clouds and 3D walkthroughs on the same map. Contours in seconds, exported as DXF for CAD. Elevation profiles along any line you draw. Change detection between two surveys with a before and after swipe. Site snagging with photo evidence, pinned inside the 360 walkthrough where the issue was raised.

Five things we have done that do not sound like drone work.

Mapped the floor of a waterbody. Dolphin runs the survey from the surface, so nobody gets wet.

Ended a boundary dispute that had been running for years, in a village in Pune district.

Recorded a heritage site precisely enough that if it is ever damaged, it can be rebuilt from the file.

Most of what we build gets talked about in specs. This one is easier to explain by what it changes for a person who will never see the drone.

In villages across Maharashtra, land measurement — mojani — has a waiting list. Boundaries get argued over for years because nobody has an accurate, current record. The Land Records Department decided to test whether drones could clear that backlog faster than a ground survey team. Enercomp flew the surveys.

When Marathi dailies covered the Bori Budruk survey in Pune district, they put it more plainly than we would have: measuring land by drone settles boundary disputes for good.

We are also engaged by Maharashtra Land Records for SVAMITVA — surveying inhabited village land so residents can hold a legal record of the property their family has lived on for generations. And in Andhra Pradesh we fly large-scale mapping on subcontract, covering fifteen to twenty square kilometres of ground a day.

What the department receives is not photographs:
🗺️ An orthomosaic tied to ground control points — survey-grade and measurable
⛰️ DSM and DTM for slope, drainage and volume
☁️ A point cloud, the raw three-dimensional record of the site
📋 GIS-ready parcel data, in the format its systems already use

Capture and processing are both done in-house, on aircraft we build ourselves.

In most drones flying in India, the brain, the eyes and the voice are imported. We decided to build all of them ourselves.

Here is the Enercomp avionics stack, every board designed and built in India:

🧠 Sarathi V1 — industrial-grade flight controller on an STM32H743 Cortex-M7 at 480 MHz. Runs PX4 and ArduPilot. 10 PWM, 5 UART, dual I²C, SBUS. 15 grams.

🛰️ Pathik GPS — compact GNSS + magnetometer module built on u-blox MAX-M10S and Bosch BMM350. GPS, GLONASS, Galileo and BeiDou, built-in antenna, RTC backup for fast re-acquisition.

📡 Tarang Tele 86520 — long-range telemetry in the licence-exempt 865–867 MHz band, 10-channel frequency hopping, +20 dBm, ~8 km line of sight. WPC Equipment Type Approval obtained.

⚡ Enercomp ESC — 60 A field-oriented-control ESC for up to 12S packs, with real-time telemetry over CAN and UART.

Why it matters: when the flight controller, the navigation module, the radio and the motor drivers all come from one engineering team, they are tuned to work together, the supply chain stays in India, and there is no export-control surprise waiting in a customer's bill of materials.

14,000 feet. Thin air. Sub-zero wind. That's where we went to find out if the Eagle VTOL really works.

Most drone specs are written in a lab. Ours were written at Changu, Sikkim, during the Trishakti Dronathon, where the Eagle took off, held station and landed in air with 40% less lift than at sea level.

Since then, the same platforms have:
🏔️ Flown at 5,000 m in the Himalayas
🗺️ Mapped 15–20 sq km a day for state land-records projects in Andhra Pradesh and Maharashtra
🪖 Been put through trials with the Indian Army at Pathankot, Jodhpur and Ahmedabad

Designed and built in Ahmedabad. 90–100% indigenous content. DGCA certified, NABL tested.
