*The Delivery Guy*
Duration: 30 mints; Lang: Eng, Hindi with Eng/ German subs

Germany is an enigmatic destination for many young people from South Asia seeking to make a career in
the West. They undertake immense financial and emotional burdens to migrate to cities such as Berlin as
students in the hope of finding a decent job at the end of their education. Their dreams, however, are quite
distant from the harsh realities of immigration. The private universities are seldom the route to a secure
livelihood. Many of them end up working as food delivery workers for platform companies under precarious
conditions.
‘The Delivery Guy’ is a story of two South Asian immigrants who moved to Berlin as students. It tells the
story of their immigrant dreams and their present day realties as food delivery workers. Despite the state
turning a blind eye to the work conditions of food delivery companies and the unregulated private
universities, these young people continue to resist in the hope of making it in Germany.

Kudos! Apurva Ashar and all the participants for making - “Art Book Designing” workshop a phenomenal success!

It was eye opening to learn the nitty gritty of designing a book from a veteran such as Apurva. What we learnt during the workshop are not only tricks of the trade while designing books using Adobe InDesign, but including but not limited to, how the production plan determines and affects designing!

From types of binding, different types of paper to using Adobe InDesign’s phenomenal tool kit to make designing workflow efficient made all four sessions extremely fun and engaging.

We look forward to some amazing work as outcome of the workshop.
