Happy CSC Diwas 2026
Today, as we celebrate CSC Diwas 2026 we salute every VLE who has dedicated the last 17 years to serving the people with commitment, compassion and innovation.
From the snow-covered mountains of Kashmir to the remote villages of Jammu, CSCs have transformed the lives of millions by bringing government, financial, healthcare, education and digital services right to the doorstep of citizens.
Today, nearly 14,000 active CSC Centres across Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh stand as symbols of trust, hope and digital empowerment. Every CSC is much more than a service centre—it is a lifeline for people living in remote, border, tribal and mountainous regions where access to government offices and banking facilities is often difficult.
During harsh winters, heavy snowfall, floods and difficult terrain, CSC VLEs continued to serve citizens when travelling to towns or district headquarters became nearly impossible. They ensured that elderly pensioners received their pensions, farmers received government benefits, students completed online applications, job seekers submitted forms and families remained connected with essential government services.
Farmers have benefited through PM-KISAN registrations, crop insurance enrolment, agricultural awareness and access to government schemes. Women entrepreneurs have become financially independent through CSCs, while rural youth have discovered new opportunities for employment, entrepreneurship and digital learning.
The journey of CSC has also strengthened governance by making public services more transparent, accountable and accessible. Instead of travelling long distances and standing in queues, citizens can now access multiple government services within their own villages.
Every CSC Centre represents determination.
Every VLE represents service.
Every digital transaction represents trust.
Every beneficiary represents a life empowered.
The success of CSC is not measured only by numbers but by the smiles of elderly pensioners receiving their first digital payment, farmers protecting their crops through insurance, students submitting scholarship applications, women becoming financially empowered and remote villages becoming digitally connected.
As we celebrate CSC Diwas 2026, we express our heartfelt gratitude to all VLEs, DMs/DCs, State Team members, Government Departments, Banking and Insurance Partners and all stakeholders who have contributed to this extraordinary journey.
The journey continues.
With innovation, dedication and the unwavering spirit of service, CSCs will continue to empower every village, every family and every citizen.
