Volunteering, Giving, and Empowering – Via in Israeli Girl’s Week! 💜✨

Today, we had the privilege of participating in the inspiring Israeli Girl’s Week, led by the Shavot organization.
As a company that promotes equal opportunities and strives for social change, we came together as a team to volunteer, give a lecture on women’s empowerment to middle school students at Shazar School in Bat Yam, and share our knowledge and experience.

Via also donated to the organization, believing that investing in young girls today is an investment in the future of our society.

We are proud and grateful for the opportunity to be part of this important initiative and contribute to strengthening the next generation of female leaders in Israel! 💪💜

An incredible initiative from our TLV R&D Center! Tom Shlomo and Ben Bar-Or from our Algo team recently led a 4-day "Intro to Rust" workshop, inspired by Google’s excellent “Comprehensive Rust” course.

They tailored the content specifically for Python developers, adding custom slides and exercises, and the workshop was a huge success!

We’ve now made all the materials available online, along with a short blog post about our experience. If you're a Python developer curious about Rust, we hope you’ll find these resources helpful!

Last night, our community of chess enthusiasts came together for an engaging evening filled with a captivating lecture and valuable tips on mastering opening moves. 🧠♟️
The event's highlight was an incredible simultaneous match, where the talented Alon Mindlin took on 15 players at once! 🌟
Kudos to all participants for their teamwork, curiosity, and strategic thinking! 🏆

🌟 Yesterday, we had the privilege of hosting a special event for reserve service members. 🌟
The event focused on equipping participants with valuable tools for re-entering the workforce.

Highlights included:

How to Succeed in Job Interviews: A panel of team managers and recruiters shared practical tips.
Resume Building: Guidance on crafting impressive resumes.
Networking: Strategies to expand networks and enhance job search opportunities.
Following the presentations, we held one-on-one sessions to offer personalized advice and support tailored to each participant’s needs.

It was a rewarding experience to make such a meaningful contribution to the community. We’re grateful for the opportunity and look forward to organizing more events like this in the future.

🌟 Yesterday, we held a special gathering for Via employees currently on maternity leave! 🌟
We transformed one of our meeting rooms into a cozy studio for a photoshoot, capturing beautiful memories of the moms with their little ones. 🍼📸
After a relaxing breakfast, the employees reconnected with team members who have been missing them during their time away.

A big thank you to everyone who helped make this event unforgettable. We’re proud to support our employees through all stages of life and look forward to many more moments like this. 🌸👶
