Last week, the world marked World Space Week.
From October 4 to 10, people everywhere celebrated space and what it brings to our lives on Earth. The week marks two milestones: the launch of Sputnik 1 in 1957, which opened the space age, and the Outer Space Treaty, signed in 1967.
For more than 30 years, Spacecom has been a leader in satellite communications, connecting people, businesses and governments across Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Asia. As space continues to shape how the world connects, we look forward to building what comes next.

You'll leave with: A clear view of how multi-orbit supports your business and activities An executive-level understanding of how multi-orbit works in practice Direct access to our experts for your own questions Wednesday, 14 October | 09:45 Avani Gaborone Resort & Casino, Gaborone Hosted with Telecommunications Corporation

Shanah Tovah U'metuka - A Sweet New Year to All 🍎🍯
As we welcome the new Jewish year, the Spacecom team pauses to say thank you - to our clients, partners, investors, and the wider community connecting us across Africa, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia.
This past year, we continued to broaden our horizons: extending reach with SmartSense by Spacecom, strengthening secure connectivity through GovNet by Spacecom, expanding our cellular backhaul solutions, and building new partnerships across the markets we serve.
Our mission carries forward unchanged - to connect what once felt out of reach, and to build bridges across borders, across orbits, and across cultures.
To our partners near and far: may the new year bring greater heights, stronger connections, and shared success.
Wishing you a happy, healthy, and prosperous New Year from all of us at Spacecom.

Satellites don't take weekends off. Neither does our Customer Service Center. 🛰️
Behind every service is a team of engineers watching signal quality, managing activations, and catching issues before they become your problem.
3AM on a Sunday? Still business hours here.
That's the CSC - people who treat your uptime like it's their own.

Good vibes, the Spacecom way! ☀️🌊
Our team brings great energy wherever we go - from the office to the beach. This time, we took it to Poleg Beach for a day filled with sunshine, laughter, refreshing drinks, delicious food, and plenty of fun together.
Because the best moments are the ones we share - and we're lucky to share them with such an amazing group of people.
Great people, great energy, and one unforgettable day. Here's to many more moments together!

Not everything goes according to plan. Terrain is unpredictable, timelines shift, and some problems only reveal themselves on-site.
That's exactly why we're there - working alongside our customers, troubleshooting in real time, and making sure every installation delivers the connectivity they need.
Behind every live site is a team that didn't leave until it worked.

Borders stretch across deserts, mountains, and coastlines that terrestrial networks struggle to reach - yet this is exactly where agencies need real-time situational awareness most.
Cameras, radars, sensors, and patrol units are only as effective as the network connecting them. A severed fiber line or a malfunctioning RF link can open a blind spot at the exact moment reliable intelligence is needed most.
GovNet by Spacecom is designed to close that gap - sustaining critical feeds, command-and-control communications, and field coordination across remote terrain and disrupted conditions.
Along a border, the difference between "monitored" and "secured" is measured in seconds. GovNet is engineered for that margin.
