This morning, we participated in a volunteer activity in memory of Libi Cohen Meguri.
Together with high school students, we brought joy to the student of a school for children on the autism spectrum through engaging games and a fun outdoor activity (and had some fun ourselves :)).
This is what Shelly, Libi's mother, sent us after the activity ended:
I want to take a moment to express how deeply moved I was.
Thank you for showing up — and thank you for bringing your hearts with you.
It was a meaningful and emotional day for children who face immense challenges in life.
You arrived with smiles, open hearts, and a willingness to give. You gave your time, your energy, and your warmth.
I am sincerely grateful.
To me, you are like family.
It is a great privilege to give these children a few hours of joy and enjoyment.
