Over the past two weeks, we had the pleasure of participating in two job fairs – one in Tel Aviv University and one in the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, Haifa – where we met hundreds of bright and talented students.

We're excited to share some of the latest updates at Toga Networks 😊

To celebrate the launch of our new website and career page, we kicked things off with a special happy hour. We gathered to raise our bottles from 'Tomer’s Brewery' in honor of Tomer a brave soldier who made the ultimate sacrifice during the war in Israel.

Additionally, we recently held a Health Week packed with engaging activities, including Yoga and Breathing sessions, a lively Ping Pong tournament, and a fantastic salad bar. We also had the privilege of hosting an insightful lecture by . Hila Sharon-David, who shared valuable tips on "Exercising Your Stress Out."

As we reflect on these exciting moments, we want to take this opportunity to thank our incredible employees for their hard work and dedication.

Unstoppable Zohar: A Day of Courage and Hope 🌟

We’re thrilled to share our incredible volunteering experience with the Make-A-Wish Foundation, where we had the honor of fulfilling the wish of Zohar, a brave teenager who survived the October 7th terror attack (– Read more about Zohar’s injury story here: https://www.ynet.co.il/news/article/s1fmxblzp)
Zohar’s inspiring courage shone through as he not only saved his father and friend but also showed remarkable strength in adversity.
Our team dedicated months to planning a day filled with adventure and joy for Zohar. Zohar kicked off the festivities with a thrilling ride in a convertible Mazda Miata convoy, proudly waving the Israeli flag. At "Motor City," Zohar received a professional karting lesson and showcased his impressive driving skills on the track.
After a delicious breakfast where Zohar’s father shared his powerful story, we set off on a thrilling adventure through the Lahav forest, tackling challenging trails on a field bike. As a special surprise, we presented Zohar with a brand-new professional bicycle, bringing him immense joy! We capped off the day with a BBQ lunch donated by our amazing Toga team, celebrating Zohar's incredible spirit.
We are grateful to have been part of Zohar’s journey and to witness his joy and resilience. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped make Zohar’s wish come true. Your kindness proves that even in the darkest times, hope and compassion can prevail.

A couple of weeks ago, we gathered to celebrate a remarkable milestone: Toga’s 15th anniversary. This event was more than just a celebration; it was a heartfelt reminder of the incredible journey we’ve embarked on together.
The pride we feel in our collective achievements is profound. Over the past 15 years, Toga has transformed into a leading technology company, thanks to the hard work and dedication of every team member. It was inspiring to see everyone come together, reflecting not only on our growth as a company but also on our personal journeys.
Despite the challenges we encounter, particularly in the north, our dedication to making a positive impact remains strong. During our celebration, we seized the opportunity to support children evacuated from those regions by organizing a team activity to build bicycles for them, embodying our values of community partnership and compassion.
Thank you for being an integral part of our story. Here’s to many more years of growth, connection, and groundbreaking work together!

🌟 We are thrilled to share our recent collaboration with the incredible Make-A-Wish Association, dedicated to granting wishes for children facing life-threatening illnesses. A couple of months ago, our amazing team members have generously donated their unused vacation days, resulting in an astonishing contribution that has been used to make these children's dreams come true. 🌟

We are proud to have supported this cause by forming two "wish fulfillment teams" who played a crucial role in planning, coordinating, managing, and bringing to life the dreams of two brave little girls battling challenging diseases and living in the war-affected area in the south of the country.

Our mission was clear: to make their wishes a reality!

🎠 Tene's Wish: Tene dreamed of having her very own playground in her backyard and having a princess-themed party alongside all her friends. Our team worked to build her playground and organize a magical celebration that Tene will never forget.

🛏️ Eden's Wish: Eden wished for a new bedroom inspired by her favorite character and a fun-filled party with her friends, complete with karaoke and an escape room. Our team transformed her bedroom and organized an unforgettable party, bringing joy to Eden and her friends.

A heartfelt thank you to our wish fulfillment teams for their dedication and hard work in making these sweet girls' dreams come true. Your efforts have provided them with extraordinary experiences and lasting memories!

We are now on a mission to fulfill even more children's dreams! 🚀

Last week, our team had the pleasure of participating in two fantastic events with prestigious universities, and we're excited to share our experiences!

📍 Spotlight Meeting at Tel Aviv University

We kicked off the week with a Spotlight Meeting at Tel Aviv University. This was a unique and special opportunity for us to engage with MSc and PhD students from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. The discussions were enlightening, and we were incredibly impressed by the students' passion, knowledge, and innovative ideas. It was inspiring to see the future leaders in tech and engineering up close and personal.

📍 Job Fair at Technion

Our week continued with a vibrant Job Fair at the Technion. We had the chance to meet many bright and talented students eager to learn about our company's vision and opportunities. Sharing our mission over some delicious ice cream provided a refreshing and enjoyable way to connect.

A huge thank you to both Tel Aviv University and the Technion for hosting us, and to all the students who took the time to engage with us. We are committed to fostering strong relationships with academic institutions and supporting the growth and development of the next generation of tech leaders.

Last month, Yury Nahshan, Sefi Kampeas and Emir Haleva from the LiteAI team had the honor of presenting their study on "Linear Log-Normal Attention with Unbiased Concentration" at the prestigious International Conference on Learning Representations (ICLR) in Vienna Austria, attracting great interest from both the industry and academia.

In this study, they proposed a novel attention mechanism that addresses the limitations of traditional attention models. By leveraging the properties of log-normal distributions to model attention weights, the Linear Log-Normal Attention approach enables more flexible and nuanced representations of contextual relationships. Furthermore, they introduced an unbiased concentration mechanism that effectively mitigates the issue of attention collapse, a common problem in attention-based models.

When science and fun are combined, great things can be achieved! 🌟🌟

Last week, researchers from the Computing Network Innovation Lab presented two groundbreaking papers at the ISC-HPC conference in Hamburg, Germany:

🔹 Alon Zameret showcased innovative work on optimizing hierarchical collective communication for next-gen ARM architectures.

🔹 Yann Delorme introduced a new mixed-precision algorithm for accelerating OpenFOAM on Huawei’s Kunpeng CPUs.

Additionally, another paper by Prof. Erick Fredj in collaboration with Jerusalem College of Technology, titled "Streaming Data in HPC Workflows Using ADIOS,” has been selected for the special edition of the Concurrency and Computation: Practice and Experience (CCPE) Journal. Memorial day in Israel is always a difficult day for our nation, a day in which we bow our heads down in remembrance and in honor of all of those who we have tragically lost.

This year the weight of the day is especially difficult with the countless heartbreaking losses we have encountered since the beginning of the war.
