דור שלישי לגיל השלישי הוא פרויקט חדש וייחודי הנוצר ע"י סטודנטים בבינתחומי ומטרתו הנגשת הטכנולוגיה לאוכלוסיית הגיל השלישי.
סטודנטים הלוקחים חלק בפרוייקט זה מלווים קשיש למהלך שנה שלמה כאשר במהלכה הם חונכים אותו על תוכנות מחשב ואתרים שימושיים כגון: סקייפ, פייסבוק, הזמנת תור לרופא ועוד.
ההתנדבות מתקיימת בשלושה בתי אבות בעיר הרצליה, כאשר כל סטודנט מוצמד לקשיש ומלווה אותו למשך השנה האקדמית אחת לשבוע למש
ך שעה וחצי.
בנוסף, מתקיימים כל שנה 3 ימי התנדבויות מרוכזים למען אוכלוסיית הקשישים.

The registration for the project "3rd Generation for the Golden Age" has opened!This is an amazing new project that came forth by IDC students - devoted in making the new technology more available to the elderly
Students whom will be accepted to this project will guide an elderly through the course of one year and will teach computerized programs and tools that can improve their quality of life such as Skype, Facebook or making a doctor's appointment as well as earning 2 credential points. As students in the first year of this project, you will line the stepping stones for the following years to come...so for students with a big heart who are looking to give back to the generation that raised us - it's you that we are looking for!
