שבוע שעבר התקיימה ועידת א.ב.א השנתית לשנת 2022, איגוד בתי האבות והדיור המוגן בישראל הוא אחד השותפים שלנו לדרך, ואנחנו שמחים שנפל בחלקנו הכבוד לקחת חלק בפאנל המקצועי שעסק ב"מחלקה גריאטרית חכמה" בו ייצג אותנו בגאווה אחד המייסדים והמנכ"ל שלנו Adam Nevo

החזון שלנו ב ThemisCare הוא להניע טיפול סיעודי גריאטרי במיקוד אישי כשהאינדיבידואל במרכז, דרך איסוף דאטה ועיבודו לכדי תובנות שיובילו לקבלת החלטות מבוססות מידע, תוך כדי התבוננות עמוקה ותשומת לב למטפל עצמו, העצמתו, ודאגה לרווחתו.
משימת המוצר שלנו היא לקרב מהותית בין הטיפול הביתי לטיפול המוסדי, ועל מנת שנוכל לעשות זאת אנחנו צריכים לרתום את המוסדות הסיעודיים והמחלקות הגריאטריות להשתמש בו.

תודה רבה לחנה הרצמן, מנכ"לית קשת - האגודה למען הקשיש, שהרכיבה את הפאנל המיוחד הזה והנחתה אותו בצורה מדויקת.

Artificial Intelligence is here to stay (and probably scale more than we expect), but more than that it's here to make an impact. We need to harness technology and adopt it instead of trying to suppress it and be afraid of it.

The use of a human being when collecting data for machine learning technologies sometimes can be an obstacle, but in the case of our elderly population, it is more than an advantage. Not only the caregiver is capable to collect more data and in a more efficient way than sensors and cameras, but using him also reduces the fear and avoidance of our older population in adopting new technologies that will create an impact on their lives.

Insights from AI technology are varied between those who can impact our lives by advising us to change certain behavior or better processes and those who can help us monitor and increase value from our stored information. When talking about geriatric care management all of the above are crucial to improve the treatment we give for our beloved relatives.
