😂 Some people really are something else...
Running a small business means meeting some fantastic people. But every now and then, you come across someone who makes you seriously question how their brain works. 🤣
Here's today's little masterpiece.
A customer orders €40 worth of resin 3D prints.
✅ Prints completed.
✅ Order packed.
✅ Parcel shipped.
❌ Customer doesn't collect it.
📦 Parcel gets returned to me.
And just to make things even better, I covered the €10 shipping cost myself. Still unpaid, by the way. 😂
After some back and forth, the customer announces that he doesn't want the prints anymore.
Fair enough. His choice.
But then comes the absolute GOLD:
"You can keep the money I sent. I'm not gonna ask for it back."
Oh, how incredibly generous! 🤣🤣🤣
Imagine paying someone to do a job, having that job completed, failing to collect the finished product, and then acting like you're doing the business owner a massive favour by allowing them to keep the payment.
The €40 wasn't a donation. It was payment for work that was actually done!
And the cherry on top? The same person still owes €10 for shipping the parcel he couldn't be bothered to collect. 😂
You genuinely couldn't make this stuff up.
Some people seem to think that when they change their minds, all the materials, electricity, machine time and hours of work magically disappear.
Unfortunately, that's not quite how running a business works.
And now for the million-euro question...
Guess what happened to his 3D prints after that last email? 😈😂
Anyway, another day, another lesson in human stupidity. 🤣
Thankfully, 99% of my customers are absolutely brilliant. It's just that the remaining 1% occasionally provides enough entertainment for everyone.
