Ambrex Switchgear is currently looking for an Office Technician as per details below.

The role will consist of designing panels based on Engineers & Contractors requirements along with technical submittals for projects.

The role will be based in our offices on the Old Dublin Road Enniscorthy where we design, assemble & manufacturing electrical switchgear panels.

✅ Basic understanding of the Electrical Industry
✅ Experience in using CAD or similar software
✅ Experience in using Microsoft Word & Excel
✅ Willing to work on own initiative
✅ 39 Hour working week
✅ Flexible Holidays
✅ Pension Scheme
✅ Good working environment
✅ Relevant & further training provided if necessary

Ambrex have had the pleasure of Pedro & Jose from Spain working with us for the past few months as part of an Electrical Erasmus programme which we were glad to be a part of alongside Enniscorthy Enterprise & Technology Centre. Here Pedro & Jose are pictured with some of the staff from Ambrex & unfortunately we couldn’t gather the whole team for the photo but got the majority.

It is very enjoyable to be part of these programmes & to give an insight into the Electrial Industry in Ireland.

Great to sponsor this race yesterday & support Wexford Racecourse.

Today Ambrex Switchgear sponsor our 6th race, the Ambrex Switchgear Handicap Steeplechase, off at 4.35pm. Ambrex Switchgear are based in Enniscorthy and they design and manufacture electrical metering & distribution panels for many industries. We are delighted they are joining us today and we are very appreciative of their sponsorship.
