Women in Tech 💪🏼♀️

We’re proud to see our co-CEO Eveline van Manen featured as part of the Women in Tech series by CyberPath.

Eveline’s journey into cybersecurity didn’t start in tech. She came from a broader business background and worked in online marketing. Over 10 years ago, she joined her father’s cybersecurity company, where she discovered how fascinating it is to protect businesses and their websites from cyberattacks.

At Forus-P, she helps businesses identify weak spots in their systems, staff awareness, and overall security before hackers can take advantage of them, protecting personal information, sensitive data, and keeping companies safe online.

One example she shared highlights the real-world impact of this work: after an employee accidentally clicked a malicious link, hackers gained access to a company’s system and stole sensitive customer data, later demanding a ransom. Our team here at Forus-P stepped in to help secure the systems, limit the damage, and strengthen security, along with providing awareness training to help employees recognise and avoid similar attacks in the future.💡

“Cybersecurity is exciting, challenging, and constantly evolving. The perspective of a woman is very valuable. When this industry benefits from diverse thinking, it makes tech stronger!” 💬

Her advice to young women: cybersecurity is a huge field with many different areas.
