Last week we shared the finished Tirlán calendar — this week, we’re opening it up to show you the detail inside.

Designed and printed by 𝐃𝐕𝐅 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐭 & 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐩𝐡𝐢𝐜 𝐒𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬, every page brings together vibrant colour, crisp print quality and carefully considered design placement — allowing the children’s brilliant illustrations to take centre stage.

From artwork and layout to print and finish, it’s a great example of how thoughtful design and quality print can bring a project to life.

Meet the Portally Alpacas at Waterford Harvest Festival! 🦙💙

Get up close and meet some of the fluffiest stars of this year’s Waterford Harvest Festival on Ballybricken Green!

Aeron & Ann from Portally Alpacas have been sheep farming for 15 years, with Aeron bringing three generations of shepherding experience from the Brecon Beacons in Wales. Their love for alpacas began in 2017, and they’re passionate about sharing their knowledge, stories and love of these beautiful animals.

Come along, say hello, meet the alpacas and hear all about life on the farm! 🦙💚

𝐀𝐧 𝐮𝐧𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐚𝐭 𝐃𝐕𝐅… 🦉

Our temporary offices have turned out to be home to a little more than print and production.

Surrounded by one of the few pockets of trees and greenery in the industrial estate, we regularly share the area with rabbits, bees, butterflies and plenty of birdlife.

This week, we can apparently add owls to the list.

One seems to have taken a slight wrong turn and crash-landed into our office window — quite literally leaving its mark behind. 😬

Thankfully, our unexpected visitor was unharmed, just a little stunned, and was soon able to carry on its way.

As for whether it was a Barn Owl or a Long-eared Owl… the jury is still out. 🦉

For Tirlán’s World Day for Safety & Health at Work campaign, children’s illustrations became part of a custom working-year calendar — turning their take on safety into something employees could see throughout the year.

We brought the project from artwork to finished piece, taking care of the design, print and production in-house — including collating, folding, saddle stitching and drilling.

A lovely example of print being used for more than just information — creating something meaningful, practical and made to last beyond the campaign itself.

Thanks to Tirlán for trusting the team with such a brilliant project.

𝐀 𝐜𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐫 𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐝𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐬 👀

A recent project completed for Tirlán as part of their World Day for Safety & Health at Work campaign.

The project included a custom A4 calendar for their working year, incorporating Tirlán's branding alongside children's illustrations. The calendar was designed, printed and finished in-house by DVF — including collating, folding, saddle stitching and drilling.

To accompany the calendar, DVF also produced these custom printed stickers — and today, we're giving them their moment. ✨

The finished calendar deserves a closer look too, so we'll be sharing that next.

A big thank you to Tirlán for entrusting DVF with this project. It was a pleasure to bring it all together.
