I cannot believe it is less than 2 weeks until Portlaoise Pride and I have so much to do in the meantime! This is such a wonderful, inclusive event with Drag acts, local musicians, great local businesses and more. 🏳️‍🌈🩷

They were the event where I debuted my first ever tote bags AND a drag queen laughed at my designs and called me smelly when I won a wax melt diffuser (which I still use!) 🤣💕

I will be there with my lovely assistant (long suffering Fiancé) Andy, my recognisable yellow table cloth, loads of tote bags, mystery book bags and more. Lets make this event POP! 🎉🍾

We made the viewfinder thanks to THAT tutorial everyone seems to have seen and luckily for us a neighbour saw us with them and provided us with really cool eclipse glasses. You could see the ring of fire at the peak! 🔥
Sad that Dumpling missed it, but hopefully they will be around for the next one in 2090!

It can be very easy to feel like you have to attend every single market on offer throughout the year.
We have made the conscious decision to take a break from markets for the rest of the year (bar Laois Pride in September). 🥰🎉

This decision did not come easy to us, but between multiple projects, commissions, and so many markets, successful and unsuccessful, the actual art has gotten lost in the shuffle. 🃏

💭 11.30 pm Talk and Book launch with .harte who shares her journey of getting her first graphic novel published.

🎨 1pm to 3pm Life Drawing with just bring your sketchbooks and art supplies. Open to all ages.

🖋 3pm give a talk about the DCAF Printing Prize with them, in a talk called What's the Deal with Risograph.

Dog friendly. Masked Event. 60+ artists on the day. Food and Drinks by Happy Out Coffee. Free admission. Fun day out for the whole family.

I can finally talk about that mystery corporate order! It was for they wanted Pride Goodie Bags for their staff attending the Dublin Pride Parade! 🌈❤️🌟

We love a big business that supports small, local businesses. I hope you had fun folks, and remembered to use sunscreen and stay hydrated during the Parade! 💧 🌞

The bags themselves had:

🍾 A cheeky bottle opener
