Apple Inc. have announced the introduction of a new 'Kids' app store. Interestingly, they've also begun to allow children under 13 to sign up for and hold iTunes user accounts, as long as they’re funnelled through an “approved educational institution.”!!

Parents need not worry though as the apps available to their kids there have to adhere to strict child privacy protection requirements.

I just saw that one of my Be Web Safe posts on ask.fm has been nominated for a Blog Awards Ireland !! This post has obviously touched a nerve with some people so thank you for the nomination.

This is down to public vote and you can apparently vote once a week so if you do get a chance to vote, I would really appreciate your support.

I'm still surprised that with all the terrible press it's been receiving that teenagers are still using it.
