5000A MDBs: from the first-of-kind unit in month one to delivering ten per month. Scaling production was only part of the challenge.
Across the full programme, we needed to maintain consistent engineering control, manufacturing quality, FAT evidence and handover discipline. This also depended on having the right people in place and a clear plan for supporting each asset after handover.

We’re hiring an Electrical Design Engineer to join our growing Engineering team at Capital Switchgear Limited.

This role is ideal for an ambitious engineer with 3+ years’ experience who enjoys technically challenging LV switchgear and control panel projects.

Working closely with our Projects and Production teams, you’ll create electrical designs, schematics, layouts, BOMs and technical documentation from concept through to completion.

Experience with CAD is required, and EPLAN experience is a distinct advantage.

Yesterday we brought the Capital team together for a company Townhall and our annual summer BBQ.

Michael Sinkey, MD, and Stephen Cullen, CEO, led the Townhall, sharing updates on the Data Centre sector, Capital’s growth, and plans for the months ahead.

After that, it was time to enjoy the BBQ and make the most of these rare days of proper heat and sunshine in Ireland.

It was a great chance to come together, enjoy the weather, and the delicious food. ☀️🔥🍔
