I am trying to learn a little about the little creatures I am illustrating, in my Birds of Ireland collection.

First up is a few little fun facts about the Coal Tit. Ireland has its own subspecies!! Who knew.

I’ve overlaid the call of the coal tit, so the next time you’re in your garden you might recognise its distinctive sound.

Behold the ‘Hooded Crow’ (Caróg Liath) my latest piece and the latest edition to my, ‘Birds of Ireland’ collection.

I never knew these birds existed until recently. I loved drawing him. So full of character and personality. Every day is a school day!

Meet ‘Meow Meow’ back in March I ran a fundraiser for Susan at the The Cat Sanctuary lovely Belinda won a prize of a hand painted pet portrait. This is the winning portrait.

My commission book for 2026 is officially closed, as I concentrate on my own work.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴

This one nearly didn’t make it. There was a point where I genuinely thought I’d never finish it and I walked away from it for over three weeks. Every time I returned, it was a battle. Now it's finished, I think the struggle was worth it!

Thank you for all you very kind comments, and I have had several requests for prints. So I am hoping to do some affordable digital prints and then some limited edition ones.
