Oughterard Model Flying Club was founded in 2015 and is affiliated to the "Model Aeronautics Council of Ireland" (MACI) and fly a variety of aircraft from its flying field in Oughterard, Co. Galway.

Welcome to Oughterard Model Flying Club below are some photo's and video of some of our aircraft,
We're getting a lot of interest in the club.
We had an open day at the Oughterard Show recently and would like to thank the organisers for allowing up to put on a static display.
We would also like to thank Oughterard AFC for allowing us to use their facilities in New Village for flying our aircraft.
The club is only new and we have 7 members Paul Nassens, Brendan Ferguson,Jason Bohan,John Kelly,Paul Naughton,Kell Murphy(junior member) and Stephen Murphy

Here's Jason's Flying Wing really impressive and easy to fly.
The other video is Stephen's P51 Mustang with sound system producing the sound of a Royals Royce Merlin engine very realistic Warbird very well finished and flies really well.+
