Come along to our BNI Rossmore networking meeting on Thursday 17th June to hear from Emmet Colleran from Colleran Accountants .
Emmet will update us on what grants, schemes and reliefs are available to businesses affected by Covid. He will summarise the recent announcements from the Minister for Finance, intended to provide support to businesses as they re-open and resume normal trading. This week's feature presentation is Adrian Kelly from Brexitplan.ie

“Brexit: What have we learned since January and what opportunities are there for businesses over the next 12 months?”

At Brexit Plan they have
✔️Worked with just under 100 businesses over the last 18 months. ✔️They range in size from 2 staff to over 5,000.
✔️Advise on issues including supply chain mapping, custom’s formalities, selection of international trading terms and many other aspects.

Brexit eventually happened in Dec 2020, but not in the way, businesses expected. There are new rules to become familiar with and potential pitfalls to be avoided, such as Tariff payments on goods.

In this talk they will outline;

✔️What they have learned since Jan 2021
✔️The key dangers that business must be aware of in the current trading environment
✔️Opportunities over the next 12 months as ‘grace periods’ end and new regulations come into force in 2022 (e.g. recognition of authorisations and standards).

This talk may be of particular of interest to:
✅ SME business owners or managers dealing in orders internationally or otherwise affected by Brexit
