Le Chéile, run by Limerick Mental Health Assocication, have started online groups. Examples include: Art, Meditation & Womens groups. Le Chéile provides support, friendship and helps people develop their talents and coping skills through the use of social and creative activities. New members very welcome.

They are offering one to one support on how to set up mobile phones/laptops/tablets so learners can join groups. You can text/call them at 0872485742 for assistance or email [email protected]. The phone line is open every day from 9am to 2pm.

Some things are still online and face to face groups like our Women’s Group, Walking Group and Men's Shed are operating with strict adherence to social distancing protocols.

Best of luck to all the Leaving Cert students getting their results tomorrow. I hope you all get the courses you want but keep in mind there are other options available.

If you are interested in studying part-time, a lot of the courses in LCETB are now using blended learning (a mixture of face-to-face and online classes) and others are completely online through eCollege.

Class sizes are being kept small at the moment and currently 2 metre distancing is in place (or 1 metre wearing a mask when necessary for some practicals). Click on the link below to view available courses. 🙂

Hi all, I set up this page for my own business a few years ago but never used so have decided to use it now to share information about study options available, mostly in Ireland or for online courses, some free, others paid for courses. My own background is in teaching computers classes, and am particularly interested in online courses. These are becoming more popular now so I hope these posts are useful to some of you.
