Behind the Design | Mill House, Newcastle

A little glimpse into one of the beautiful client projects we’re currently working on at Coast and Co.

From the initial design direction and space planning to carefully selected furniture, fabrics, finishes and detailed visualisations, there’s so much that goes into bringing a room together.

For this master suite, we’re working with a palette of warm, rich neutrals, layered textures, beautiful joinery and soft lighting to create a space that feels luxurious, calm and inviting.
We love seeing a design develop from those first ideas into a complete vision for our clients.

A little glimpse into what’s happening behind the scenes at Coast and Co...
It’s been a busy few weeks in the studio, with some beautiful client projects taking shape, and we thought we’d share a little preview of what we’ve been working on.
From richly layered living rooms and luxurious bedrooms to elegant bathrooms, dining spaces and timeless architectural details, these are just a few of the design concepts we’re currently developing for our clients.
We’re loving the warmer, richer tones, beautiful textures, considered lighting and bespoke detailing that feature throughout these spaces.
Every home is different, and that’s what makes the design process so interesting. Creating interiors that not only look beautiful but feel right for the people who live in them.
We can’t wait to see these concepts come to life.

A beautiful room is about so much more than how it looks.

It’s about how it feels when you walk through the door. How the light falls, how the furniture sits within the space, and how every detail works together to make everyday living that little bit better.

We’ve been busy behind the scenes this week, developing concepts, refining layouts, selecting finishes and bringing our clients’ ideas to life.

One thing we always come back to is that great design isn’t about following trends or filling a room with beautiful things.

It’s about creating a home that feels considered, comfortable and completely personal to the people living in it.

And often, it’s the smallest details that make the biggest difference.

From the very beginning, we’ve been so lucky to work on beautiful projects, meet amazing people and watch Coast & Co grow into what it is today.
