We loved working on the new University of Galway Transition Year Prospectus, creating a student-focused publication designed to spark curiosity and show TY students just how many possibilities university life can open up.

From Galway’s landscape and communities to campus life, learning and future opportunities, the design brings the story to life through vibrant illustration, photography and a strong sense of journey throughout.

A lovely project to bring to life - encouraging students to explore where their interests and curiosity might take them.

Great turnout at the Digital Marketing Dublin event last Friday.

Aidan Reid and Alex O'Connor from the Proactive Digital Team attended the event at Radisson Blu Hotel.

Plenty of insights from an action-packed half-day of talks across sectors as diverse as retail, media, public sector and hospitality. We came away with some key insights that can help our clients make a greater impact in 2027:

Whether you are an SME or an enterprise, here's how to keep your digital touchpoints compliant:

✅ 𝐀𝐈 𝐈𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐀𝐮𝐝𝐢𝐭: Catalogue every AI tool deployed across your team (In-house vs. Vendor-supplied).
✅ 𝐖𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠: Ensure all synthetic media outputs are tagged with machine-readable metadata.

Last weekend, family, friends and colleagues gathered at the Galway Rowing Club to celebrate a special birthday for our colleague Jimmy Burke 🎉

It was a wonderful evening filled with great company, stories, and fantastic Trad Rock music performed by Jimmy's talented family and friends. There were also some thoughtful tributes to a man whose creativity has left its mark in many places - including framed photographs of an early Druid Theatre poster he designed and a memorable image of Jimmy on stage during one of his many acting performances.

Those of us who know Jimmy know his creativity extends far beyond the office. It was a privilege to celebrate such a milestone with him and the people who know him best.

Happy Birthday, Jimmy - here's to many more performances, projects and celebrations to come! 🎂

Last week, members of the Proactive team attended , hosted by CREW at Dexcom Stadium in Galway.

It was an inspiring day of keynotes, panels and exhibitions that reinforced something we already know well - the creative industry across the West and North West is thriving.

One theme came through consistently: 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻. Whether in design, film, digital or strategy, the strongest work happens when different perspectives, disciplines and skillsets come together. The success of the Irish film industry in recent years is a great example of what can happen when collaboration is embraced at local, national and international level.

Creativity doesn’t exist in a vacuum - and with so much talent across the region, there’s huge value in learning from and working alongside one another.

(And yes… speaking of collaboration, we happen to know a team that offers quite a few creative services 😉)
