The garden is planted and finally back to some arts and crafts hurray! New wind chime from today available for anyone who would like to add a beachy feel to their home. All items can be posted or dropped off in the local area.

Note to my customers:

As you may know, I have taken a break from the Craft Shop in Carlingford for the winter months to work on a range of new products.
It has however now come to my attention that somebody in the craft shop, which I won’t mention by name here, is trying to copy my work and there are oyster shell angels on display.

I would like to stress out that I did not produce these angels. I had a look at them and they are badly crafted from damaged shells with blotches of glue visible and the wooden beads are even growing mould on them. Yuk.

I am aware that my Oyster shell creations are not copyrighted so I can't stop people from doing them as well, but I do not want to be associated with other people's bad work. I put a lot of time, thought and love into my creations and what I've seen there had none of it.

So dear copycat, if you have to go so low as to copy your fellow artist’s work as soon as she is out of the door do it at least right. Put some love in and... sanitise your shells properly so they don’t grow micro- organisms on them.

The festive season is rolling in and I have spent those dark rainy autumn days in front of the fire making little oyster angels. I think they came out rather cute! I also tried myself on an oyster shell xmas tree illuminated by, of course, my lovely oyster candle holders which would look lovely on any xmas table!
All freshly delivered into the Craft Shop in Carlingford today and also available on the craft fair at Drumshallon Forge on the 25th this month
