We're delighted that Nova Leah's founder Anita Finnegan has been included in this list of outstanding female founders, which include some fantastic Irish entrepreneurs.

The EU Prize for Women Innovators recognises and rewards the entrepreneurs behind "game-changing" innovations. Its aim is to raise awareness of the need for more women innovators, and create role models for women and girls everywhere.

To have so many women from Ireland make the list is amazing to see and a reflection on innovation in Ireland. This is the second time Dr. Finnegan has been nominated for this prize.

Connected medical devices are vulnerable and the cybersecurity landscape is constantly changing. In response to this medical device security experts at Nova Leah developed SelectEvidence®, an expert cybersecurity risk management system. This is the first system of its kind, providing medical device manufacturers with an automated solution for implementing and maintaining cybersecurity requirements across medical device product portfolios.

The role offers a unique and exciting opportunity to work closely with Nova Leah’s progressive young management team in Dundalk, Co Louth, delivering our unique cybersecurity solution to the medical device software space.

Opportunity:
The role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with Nova Leah’s progressive young management team delivering our unique cybersecurity solution to the medical device space.

You will play a vital role in helping us reach and exceed our customer and revenue goals and build our brand recognition for our key market segments. Driving targeted customer engagement, sales pipeline and revenue as well as maximising efficiency across digital and traditional marketing channels will be your key objectives.

Ideally you will already have gained significant B2B marketing experience with a strong digital focus working for a fast-paced business and you will be especially savvy in using social media platforms and creative content to maximise brand awareness and deliver results.

Your responsibilities will include:

Brand Management: liaising with external agencies to ensure quality and cost-effective on-time delivery of the brand development. Experience conducting market research would be a plus.
Business Development: working closely with sales on lead generation and customer qualification.
Digital marketing: delivery and maximisation of our digital presence through maintenance of the website, SEO/SEM campaigns and management of the social media programme.
Content creation to include: Whitepapers, Videos, Presentations, Infographics, Webinars, Customer references, Newsletters, Blogs, Internal reporting.
Marketing materials - create and manage the production of marketing materials.
Planning and ex*****on management for industry events, conferences and tradeshows.
Strategic product marketing (analysis of customer base, product offerings and value etc.)
CRM and business insight management.
The successful candidate is likely to be enthusiastic and self-driven with an appropriate marketing qualification and minimum 4 years’ marketing experience. They should also have strong Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word and Excel) skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills. The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritise well and work under pressure to tight deadlines will also be important.

Opportunity:

We looking for applications from candidates with the following experience:

At least 4 years’ experience of working in software development teams
Experience of working in/leading software development teams within an agile environment
Experience of both client side and server-side development using Java
Experience in development of database management applications and usage of MySQL
Experience and Knowledge of different Software Development Environments and Tools
Experience of performing Continuous Integration
Experience of project management and configuration management
Able to communicate complex solutions in a simple manner to both team members and customers
Possess knowledge of security and implementing security controls and protocols
Able to define and implement software development processes
Possesses knowledge of algorithm development
Experience improving application efficiency and performance
Experienced Developer with knowledge of Software Design Patterns and Refactoring
Experience of developing cloud solutions
Good presenter, communicator
Knowledge of DevOps would also be advantageous
