Portal the largest pieces of my mini series last year and also the main piece.
I think it is the perfect piece for the 1st of September the play of warm and cool colours the pops of gold and the textures and brush strokes created to give depth and mystery.

Facilitating workshops in community spaces or corporate settings are so fun for me.
Every single person's starts with saying ' oh but I am bad at art' and every single person leaves saying they enjoyed experimenting or asks if its ok to take their work back home and show their spouse or kids!

That is the most incredible feedback for me as an artist and someone who never painted seriously until in turn 28 only cause i thought I wasn't good enough!

I love these 3 simple words, obviously you can never simplify or trivialise anyone experience but maybe in a simple world if we followed these 3 emotions of Love, Friendship and Loyalty we would be a much kinder, curious and stronger society!

I had to take a pause today to enjoy that my work is creating the little ripples that I have always wanted to spread! Moments of Joy and Connection.

Shared this as a grid post cause it is so heartfelt and also because I took 4 months to perfect this illustration cause I really wanted it to feel like what I feel and experience Dublin as. I also wanted it to stand out amongst all the other Irish gifts cause these are landmarks and moments that have even important in my journey over the last 10 years.
